Laswell brought over myself, Ghost, and Price. To brief us for this next mission in Texas USA, apparently Shepherd had some info he stole from one of the GSF people that was in the car he was a prisoner of.
S: "What did we get from Shepherd?"
Shepherds' headshot appears next to the email message.
P: "How much of it came from Shadow?"
L: "Shepherd's info is legit, boys. Graves cut ties before he met up with Sky."
G: "Good."
P: "Right now, I don't trust him as far as I can throw my knife."
L: "I vetted his intel... It's good."
The screen displays a french man's image and dossier file.
O: "I also read over it. He found Bauer's financier. He's a French journalist/banker named Rachid Favier. Been doing Bauer's bidding behind the scenes for years."
Bauer's mugshot appears next, followed by the globe rotating until the screen zooms in on Plutus Island in the Mediterranean Sea.
G: "Where is he?"
L: "A private island. In Texas."
P: "Isolated and remote..."
L: "It's a fortress in paradise. Guess who runs security..."
I had to question it.
S: "Why Texas of all places?"
A set of blueprints and video surveillance of the island displays next.
L: "The intel included blueprints and the lay of the land. It's Mustang Island."
P: "What are we looking for? We can't roll up Rachid."
L: "Not legally. But, we can roll up his money."
The computer displays a list of banking institutions and a satellite relay dish.
L: "Island's got servers that can get us into his banking."
S: "We need to get past his security protocols."
Surveillance images of the island's security guards and bunker appear next.
L: "Someone out there has a FOB key. We find them, I can get a live line and crack it."
An image of an Army boat shows up next on the screen along with a tab for Price, me and Ghost.
S: "We'll infiltrate from the water and split up. I'll go for the FOB key. Ghost and Price secures the rear perimeter."
G: "We'll need eyes."
An image of a recon drone is displayed.
L: "I'll pilot a drone and coordinate from the air."
P: "I like what I'm hearin'."
S: "Let's go follow the money."
We ran out to the boat for the first time, and drove out to Texas.
The sun sets over Mustang Island amid the storm clouds in the sky and thunder.
P: "Weapons hot, Sky... Storm's coming."
Alpha approaches the island by 75 Defiant.
L: "Gimme a strep, boys..."
