Chapter 7: Gas Death Mix

We arrived in a Helio right in the area of hanger 2 at Joint Base Lewis McChord.
Myself and Price walked forward.

P: "Got your six, Sky."

I walked forward unarmed with my arms outstretched.

S: "Bryce! Let's talk..."

A few of Bryce's men of JBLM appear with rifles cocked and aimed at me. Bryce steps out of the shadows with his shotgun aimed at me.

Bryce(B): "You showed up at the wrong time."

S: "Not this time. We've gotten a lead on a German man named Bertke. He's planning a Hydrogen creation. Found a factory with the first part of the creation "

B: "A fuckin gas factory?"

P: "We had plans to destroy it."

B: (incredulous) "Your is fucking crazy."

S: "Yeah, well, we're all a little crazy, aren't we? (looks up) Isn't that right, Alex?"

Alex is seen in a sniper tower with a .50 cal sniper rifle.

Alex(A): "Affirmative, sir."

Alex relaxes his weapon. Bryce and his men lower their weapons as well.

S: "With your help, we can finish before he begins..."

Bryce walks slowly towards me.

B: "You're a good brother, Lieutenant. And a worse enemy, I'm sure... But, I do not cross borders and invade. I defend myself here at home."

S: "Well sometimes that's the best line of defense... But this time-"

Price reaches behind my back with his right arm, causing Bryce and his men to reflexively raise their weapons. I motioned to relax as Price revealed the gas factory plans, causing the men to relax again. Price hands the plans to Bryce.

P: "It's all there- the plans, the personnel..."

Bryce looks at Price then me with understanding and nods.

B: "I see...(smiles) An army with no ties could carry out this mission..."

S: "And they'd all blame the 'terrorists', wouldn't they?"

B: "I knew I could trust you. Well then, let's get rid of the fucker."

We all got back to Niks Helio as Bryce's men got their stuff sent to where the factory is. I displayed into the helios screen that Price, Alpha 1, Bryce, and everyone else can see in a picture along with photos of a German asset, the chemical gas, and the factory schematics.

O: "This is a covert operation to destroy Bertke's gas factory. Gerhard, our German asset, is on the inside, he'll provide explosives. Two teams will infiltrate. Bravo team, Garrick, Ghost and Price will plant charges on the pipeline.. Alpha Sky, Bryce and the JBLM men, you'll get a detonator from Gerhard and rig the main furnace. When the charges are set, get a safe distance... and bring it down. Air support from Laswell paves the way. Rest is up to us."

Laswell request a missile that the drone drops onto the bridge where the assault begins.

L: "Troops in the open, north side of the bridge. Call for fire."

US UAV Operator(USU): "Copy. Three seconds to impact."

The missile landed in front killing a tank.

S: "Good kill, Watcher- Good kill..."
