As Boreas and Timor walks in the cave, Timor are surprised at how bright the cave are.
"Woah, wait its bright in here?" Timor asks while walking beside Boreas Inside the first floor.
"Yes i cast a permanent magic to light up the whole dungeon, down to its last floor. It helps me see better and saves me more mana for the battle." Boreas answers with a cold face and his gaze is fixated to his surroundings.
"Wow you have a permanent magic?" Timor is surprised after hearing that his Master has a permanent magic. Boreas never mention this before to Timor since it never got brought up.
"Yes. I do. It's quite useful." Boreas said this in a prideful tone.
"Wait then why didn't you lights up the cave we have been in for the past months?" Asks Timor curiously.
"I wasn't planning on living there permanently. And the spell is 'permanent' Timor. It means after casting it is very difficult to deactivate it."
"Ahh. Okay I get it..." Timor still has many questions in his mind that he wants to ask. But he didn't feel like this is the right time to ask all of them.
"Okay... So..... why isn't there any Monsters that had attacked us yet?" After pondering it for sometime, Timor thinks that this question is the most appropriate to ask at this situation.
"Because most of the Monsters at this Floor knows their place. They know how strong I am since I have visited this place many times in the past." Boreas answered with coldly and his gaze focused ahead. "But keep your eyes open Timor. You are a new visitor here. They might see you as an easy target, since you have vastly compressed your mana, they see you as a weak intruder." Warned Boreas.
"What kind of Monsters lives in this floor anyway?" Timor can't help but asks another question. However Boreas didn't seemed to be bothered.
"Sludges, and some insects Monster" A short answer from Boreas.
"Sludges? Like the unperfected form of slimes?" Familiarity can be heard from Timor's tone. Since Timor had studied kinds of Monsters in the past when he was still with his family.
"Correct. They are weak. But still can be quite dangerous considering that their body can melt almost anything if they wanted to. A simple shield can hold them since their dissolving sludge takes a while to take effects." Boreas explained.
(Well, I already knows that. But I don't want to be rude...) Thinks Timor.
And speak of the devil. Timor accidentally slipped on a Sludge monster.
"Huh?!" Timor loses his balance for a second but quickly regain it. "What is that?!" Timor looks down and sees a dark greenish Sludge under him. It slowly melts the bottom part of Timor's food wear.
A/N
The foot wear Timor's wearing is your choice. Just use your imagination."A sludge!" Out of instinct Timor jumps away from the Sludge and he thinks to himself on how to kill it.
(Okay this is my first time seeing a Monster... with not much physical form.... wait.... how do i defeat it...?) Timor starts to wonder on how to defeat the thing.
"Uh.... Boreas?" After landing safely and away from the Sludge, Timor looks up to Boreas and asks him once again, with a hesitant tone. "How do I defeat the Sludge?" (The only magic I know is earth magic... So what am I supposed to do?)
After hearing Timor's somewhat desperate question, Boreas imaginatively facepalm him self. "Just use your magic to bury it under some soil. If it can't move it won't bother you." (Seriously, i know that this is your first Monster pray but really?) Boreas starts to disappoint.
