Chapter Seven

Samie's POV

A lot has changed in a year. Riley broke up with me...Gaia beat him up. And I started Dating Joah, who Gaia didn't like.

"I decided...I'll try being his friend. But if he keeps hitting my lunch I'm gonna sit somewhere else." Gaia said.

"Yay!" I screamed fangirling.

"Yeah." She said turning her head away.

English was boring, we finished watching" Where the Red Fern Grows 2". Danni was still annoying. Mrs. Ashache didn't care what we did. So the two people from the buddy room were basically humping eachother in the corner. Oh....this school.

"Hey, you ok babe?" Asked Joah, taking my hand.

"Yep. Just try not to annoy Gaia please...for me? She actually wants to be friends with you." I whispered.

"But I don't like her."

"I know, she isn't your biggest fan either."

"I know...you're my biggest fan." He winked, causing me to blush.

"I love you."

"I love you too." He kissed my nose.

The bell rang, and I decided that Gaia and I needed some girl time. I walked towards her locker. Gaia was staring at something in her locker, probably a picture of Zade. She was all broken and nothing without him. Personally I'm pissed at him for leaving. I mean, what kinda boyfriend leaves?

"Hey Gaiaphage." I stick my tongue out.

She smiled, a full one. It quickly disappeared by her looking back into her locker.

"Hey. Hey. Hey! Over here." I moved her face towards me, "I wanna go say hi to Lia...wanna come?"

Lia was one of my bestest closest friends. Gaia met her at my 12th birthday party, but then we met eachother in the park. Gaia had sticks screaming "rapists" at everyone who passed. We were laughing like manics.

Gaia nodded her head. She took one last look at Zade and her in the picture then slammed her locker and stormed off. I sighed, hopefully she will get things off of her mind.

I was walking to art, my second elective when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I spun around and Jacob was standing, smiling at me.

"Jakey!!!!!" I screamed hugging him.

"Samie! Hey! I missed you!" He hugged back.

Jacob had been in California for the past two weeks because his cousin died while fighting in the navy. I had gotten over him, fully, because of Joah. The boys never talked to each other. It was quite odd. But yet, I haven't told Jacob that I was dating Joah.

"How was Cali? Meet any girl there at the beach?" I winked.

He chuckled and threw his head back. I'm glad he or over Nikki, actually she was pregnant with Tanners baby. Guess they either forgot the co*do* or it broke.

"Haha no...I didn't. I've been waiting for the right someone." Jake smiled, with a gleam in his eye.

"Oohhh!!! Jake! Joah asked me to be his girlfriend! We are official now!" I said, obviously excited.

"Aw...that's-that's good." He smiled. His eyes looked sad.

"What's wrong?" I asked, concerned.

He shook his head,"Nothing you need to worry about."

"Okay." I said scrunching up my eyebrows.

We parted ways, as I went to art and he went to Tech Ed. Art was easy going...the same old same old. We kept working on our sculptures, mine was a rose...after I was going to paint it different colors and put fake raindrops on it.

The bell rang and everyone spilled out into the crowed hallways. I walked, being so small I couldn't see anything...so I followed the people.

"Hey...need help getting through?" I heard a deep voice that I recognized.

Just keep walking Sam.

"Samie...come on!" He screamed.

Riley.

"No. Leave me alone or I will have Gaia come back and beat your a** again and this time no one will stop her." I fiercely said.

"Samie! Turn around!" He forcefully tugged my back.

"Let me go!" I screamed.

"Someone get Gaia!" As soon as I said her name she was by me in a second.

"I told you...to leave her alone." She slammed him against the wall and kicked him hard 'where the sun don't shine'.

She flipped him off before guiding me through the mass of people at our school. She stopped at the window and smiled...then walked away.
