the class went quiet and that's when the teacher showed her to her seat

she sat there at a desk next to some random girl who kept eyeing her up and down

valentina started fiddling with her fingers was looking around the classroom until her eyes landed on the familiar face

jakari, talking with his friends who were trying to figure out why he was so shocked

valentina eyes widen once she noticed the boy sitting there

she looked away once he looked right back at her while his friends was talking to him

"alright are you guys still listening?" the teacher said making the students nod their heads and some respond

valentina sat there in her chair while she fiddled with her fingers

until the bell rung which made everyone gladly stand up and make the teacher yell out upcoming assignments

valentina slowly stood up behind the students who ran right out the door ignoring the hell out of the teacher

she put her hand bag on her shoulder then started walking towards the door

once she exited the classroom she felt somebody tap her shoulder and she immediately turned around seeing jakari and the two other boys

it was lunchtime and the halls were so packed with people bumping eachother

"I'll see you niggas ight?" jakari said to his two new friends who nodded their heads

"make sure you meet us in the lunchroom nigga" jaymani said making jakari nod his head

valentina watched the two boys walk off after dabbing up the teenage boy then looked at him making a smile appear on her face

"hey" valentina said

"I ain't know you went here" jakari said

"I do now.. I had to cause of my care taker" valentina said

"me too I had to cause child services was on my ass" jakari chuckled making valentina chuckle

they stood there in silence while the two were starting to grow nervous just staring at eachother in pure silence
