Chapter 3 ~ 𝕬 𝖓𝖊𝖜 𝖘𝖎𝖉𝖊 𝖙𝖔 𝖒𝖊

As I walked out of the barracks with Alice an overwhelming sense of pride took over my body. I don't know why wearing lingerie makes me confident I guess. However the pride was swiftly replaced with embarrassment and a many cat calls coming into my direction. An anger overwhelmed me. I turned to Alice she had a smile and thumbs up.

'You didn't do this to make me stand up for myself? I grounded to her.

'Nah I wanted you to get layed' Alice said enthusiastically

A loud sigh came from my lips. I felt completely annoyed is this all Alice sees to life sex.

'Come on Aria, you are gorgeous you just don't know it. You know every guy in the army dripples over you'

Ever since I was younger I became extremely insecure. i mostly blame when I was a dancer. The teacher often shredded us girls and quickly made up gain many insecurities. 

'How about we make a bet' Alice now have a almost deadly smile to her face.  Making her seem extremely creepy.

'Ok what' I said in a monotoned voice.

'OK...OK so basically if you don't get some action in the next week I will write a letter to you know who saying how much you miss him and how you want to marry him. Knowing him he will come running' Alice exclaimed in one massive breathe.

'Ok deal' 

With that we made our way over to the massive lunch hall. It was filled with so many cadets all filling the room with immense noise.

Alice and I immediately saw Henry and Peter both waving their hands like mad men. In which we both responded by hastily making our way towards them. 

'I need to tell you guys everything' In which Alice made shrieking voice.

In which the whole group which contained Alice, Henry, Peter and of course me. They were  made known to the situation with commander Scarpia. This made my ugly complexion even worse with my checks becoming a bright shade of red which could blind anyone.

I have known Peter since I was 15 and he was 16. Alice and I saw him on the first day of training camp he looked intimated so we decided to talk to him were we found that he was an inspiring artist however he was forced by his parent to join the army which he greatly disliked. So for the next 3 years in training camp we all became extremely close. Peter would often ask us to pose for his oil paintings and he was spectacular.

 But then we met Henry when we first joined the Military after training camp. While I was 18 Henry was 20 his friends had just died on a previous mission in which he was left sitting all alone. Henry is quite similar to Alice in which he slept with many women. It made sense though as he had dark brown hair and was also incredibly handsome.

After Alice told the whole story. I felt a slight tap on my shoulder.

I swiftly looked around to see a 6 foot guy. He had blue eyes they were shiny along with blonde fluffy hair. He had a sweet smile and seemed awfully intimated which we could all tell by  the extreme stutter in his voice as he said this.

'Hi Aria, I am Joshua. I have noticed you from afar and you do not only seem sensible but as well extremely pretty'

A small blush landed onto my face 

'That is extremely sweet of you, are you free around I don't know 6 tonight'

He quickly responded 'Yes, yes that would be amazing how about lets meet here ok'

Alice then quickly nudge my arm and when you turned to her you saw a soft smile creep onto her lips.

'Ok maybe then you have won the bet'

Around 7am is when training starts. It is completely exhausting as today we ran at least 50 laps. However I was fortunate as when we train we are split up into our groups which we have when we are out on missions. Our officer was probably the nicest officer out of them all. He was demanding with our group however he also was compassionate. Within my group there was Me, Alice and Peter.

After the long sweaty exercise which fortunately stops at 12pm with the occasional breaks in between. We all made our way into the dining hall as we all queued up. 

After the none fulfilling food. We had free time from about 1pm to 3pm in which if we are fortunate we would have time to have a shower. However for the women's quarters there were only 15 shower which could not support the entirety of the women in this branch on the military. So you had to basically run to have any chance at all to feel clean.

After free time from 3 to 6 was basically chores. Unfortunately I was with none of my friend group and instead all alone with a few boring cadets cleaning the stables. I was so excited to meet up with Joshua. He had the most gorgeous eyes and he didn't seem like the other men at all. Although his two friends were known for being quite creepy men. I quickly brushed off the red flags that presented in my brain.

At 6pm i rushed into the dining hall which then I saw him, Joshua he had a smile upon his face. I leaned over to give him a hug which he greatly accepted. I also saw two of his friends giving me smiles. We all fell into a deep talk then

'You know that girl there she is a massive slut' In which one of Joshua friends pointed to Alice.

In which they laughed. I tried to fake a laugh however it led me to great discomfort. Which seemed presented on my face as Joshua said,

'don't be so dramatic' You felt Joshua whispering into your ear.
