"We will do whatever it takes to save him," Lysandra said, her voice steady despite the fear that threatened to overwhelm her. "We will make any sacrifice, bear any burden, if it means bringing him home."

Alaric nodded in agreement, his hand clenching into a fist at his side. "Aurelius is our son, and we will not abandon him to this darkness. We will fight for him, and we will win." The God's expression softened, and he took a step forward. "You are indeed brave and selfless," he said, his voice gentle.

"But you must understand the weight of your decision. To save Aurelius, you must become my servants, my hands and eyes in this world. You must do my bidding, no matter the cost."

Lysandra and Alaric exchanged another glance, their hearts heavy with the knowledge of what the God was asking. But still, they could not bring themselves to refuse. "We will do whatever it takes," Lysandra said, her voice steady. "We will bring our son home, no matter the cost."

Alaric nodded in agreement. "Our lives are his, and we will gladly give them to save him."

The God smiled, his expression softening further. "Very well," he said. "From this day forth, you shall be my servants. But know this: your love for your son shall not be diminished. In fact, it shall only strengthen as you learn to embrace the power within you."

With a wave of his hand, the God removed the crown of thorns from Aurelius' head. The boy gasped, his eyes snapping back into focus, and he collapsed into his parents' arms, sobbing. They held him close, tears streaming down their faces, never more relieved to feel his warmth and strength against them.
