The God stepped back, his expression thoughtful. "Aurelius will need time to adjust to his newfound freedom," he said. "He has been through much, and his mind and body will require rest and healing."

Lysandra and Alaric nodded, their eyes never leaving Aurelius. They were acutely aware of the demonic power within them, waiting to be unleashed. They knew that their role as the God's servants would not be an easy one, but they were prepared to do whatever was necessary to protect their son and ensure his well-being.

As they continued to hold Aurelius close, they felt a surge of energy course through them, fueling their bodies and minds. They could sense the power of the God within them, waiting to be unleashed at their command. It was both exhilarating and terrifying, a weighty responsibility that they would not take lightly.

With those words, the God disappeared, leaving Lysandra, Alaric, and Aurelius alone in the chamber. The three of them sat together on the cold stone floor, their arms wrapped around each other, as they tried to process everything that had happened.

Lysandra felt the weight of the God's power within her, and she knew that she could not deny it any longer. She would do whatever it took to protect her family, even if it meant becoming a servant to a deity. Alaric seemed to sense her unease, and he squeezed her hand reassuringly.

Aurelius, meanwhile, had finally stopped sobbing, his breath coming out in ragged gasps. His eyes were red and puffy from crying, but there was a newfound determination in them. He looked up at his parents, his expression resolute. "I'm sorry," he said, his voice barely a whisper. "I didn't mean for any of this to happen."

Lysandra and Alaric exchanged a glance, their hearts aching for their son. "We know that, my love," Lysandra replied, her voice gentle. "We know you were only trying to protect us." She reached up to wipe away a tear that had escaped Aurelius' eye.
