(Daejeon, South Korea)

That day was just like any other day, the morning was peaceful, with everyone rushing to the metro to catch their trains. Employees were heading to work, little kids were crossing the road to get to school, and some high schoolers were thinking of skipping it. The sun was shining over Daejeon town. Meanwhile on the side of the road, a beggar was asking for money from passersby. A man in a blue coat, running late for work and wearing sunglasses, was approached by the beggar. The beggar said, "Sir, I'm hungry and in need of some money." The man in the blue coat replied, "I don't have any change, but you seem thirsty under the sun. Here, take this water bottle." He gave the beggar the bottle and then continued on his way.
"Water ain't worth like money, sir!" the beggar yelled calmly to the man in the blue coat as he hurriedly entered the metro station.
"Hey! Jeong-yun, we're already running late, and you're just strolling along. The boss is gonna be furious!" a man in grey attire said to Jeong-yun (one with blue coat).
"You're always so tense, Kim. Relax, we'll make it to the office on time," Jeong-yun replied.
And Jeong-yun was right, they both reached the office on time, yet the air in the boss' office crackled with tension. Despite the boss' ferocious command, the day eventually drew to a close. As evening descended, jeong-yun and kim once more boarded the bustling metro, they were pretty relaxed amidst the city's rhythmic pulse.
Train stopped on Daejeon Central station and they both got out, As they were saying their farewells at the stop, Jeong suddenly interjected, "Hey Kim! I totally forgot about my dinner plans with Yuna."
"You better hurry up, she must have been waiting for you" Kim responded swiftly.
Jeong then left the station with his hand bag and quickly rushed towards Mao-Soup Restaurent, this is the favourite restaurent of Yuna-soon, the fiance of Jeong.

Jeong caught sight of Yuna standing outside the restaurant, her gaze fixed on the ticking clock. "Yuna! I am here" Jeong beamed, waving his hands excitedly. Yuna's tense expression transformed into a radiant smile as she responded, "You are always late Jeong"

After exchanging a brief embrace, they stepped into the warm cozy restaurant which is one of the oldest and well-known in Daejeon. "Bring some Kimchi soup and bibimbap," Jeong said to the waiter. The waiter, with a knowing smile, responded, "We're already aware, sir. You choose these dishes every time." With a smile, the waiter left them to enjoy in peace.

"Yuna my love, your face is shining brighter than the moon tonight" Jeong expressed fondly. Yuna blushing brushed off the compliment, replying, "Stop lying, Jeong"

"By the way, did your roommate Tae-hoon manage to secure a job?" Yuna sudden inquired. Jeong stopped for a moment and then replied, "He went for an interview today, let's hope he got a job." Yuna uttered, "We're planning to tie the knot this December, and you're still sharing an apartment with Tae-hoon. I long to have you all to myself in our own peaceful space" Yuna expressed. "I feel the same way, my love," Jeong comforted her.

Minutes later the food finally arrived, and they both relished their conversation and meal before leaving the restaurant. As they strolled hand in hand along the pathway, they sudden heard the distant rumble of thunder.
"It seems like rain is on its way" Yuna said. "Should we hurry up?" Jeong questioned. Just then, the rain started to fall, and Jeong prepared to dash for cover with Yuna when she unexpectedly said, "Jeong! Let's embrace the rain and walk freely"

Jeong was happy that he got a joyful fiancée with a free mind and heart. He walked along with her to her apartment and then finally reached his own rusty apartment at floor 17.

He knocked on the door, but no one responded. He knocked one more time, this time with a louder voice, "Tae-hoon!"

Jeong-Yun waited for nearly half an hour, exhausted, drenched in sweat, and soaked by the rain. Suddenly, the door opened, and a lean guy with black hair and brown, dizzy eyes exclaimed, "Jeong?!"

"You bugger!" Jeong exclaimed as he grabbed Tae-Hoon's collar. "Take it easy bro, What happened?" Tae-Hoon pretty much confused asked. "What's happened? It's 11 p.m., and i have been waiting outside for half an hour, and what were you doing inside?" Jeong questioned with an upset face.

Tae-Hoon then apologized, "I was playing an online game with headphones on, that's why I didn't hear you, sorry!" Jeong-Yun finally calmed down and sat on the sofa, he then asked, "Today was your interview, how did it go?" Tae paused for a moment and replied, "I woke up an hour ago and missed the interview." Jeong became angry again, he yelled "Waking up at 10 p.m.? You're unbelievably lazy man!"

Jeong yelled, "You will stay unemployed for the rest of your life!" Tae-Hoon retorted, "I don't want a job like yours, 9 to 9!" To which Jeong replied, "This job is why we are currently in this cozy apartment. We agreed to split the rent bill, but for the past year, I've been paying it all."
Tae-hoon stopped and yelled "Fine! I'll leave this place."

Jeong said, "No, I'll leave. The owner of this apartment is crazy. Now, this month you'll give him all the rent, and I'm moving to Yuna's block." Tae-Hoon's eyes widened in fear, "How will I arrange the rent fee in two days? The month is ending."

To which Jeong replied, "You didn't care about me, now I don't care." With that he left the living room to pack his bags.

Tae-Hoon with lost hope sat down on the chair, his life flashing back to his college days where he only played games instead of studying. Now, he's struggling to find a job. The next day, Jeong-Yun left the apartment with his belongings and handed the key to Tae-Hoon. Another day passed, and the month came to an end. Finally, the owner knocked on Tae-Hoon's door.

When he opened the door, it was none other than a bald, muscular man who is actually a gangster.
