Training Wheels is about sex because it demonstrates and introduces the first time it happens. The song also indicates what happens when one lover is ready for sex while the other isn't. There is plenty of evidence from Melanie's music video, but some may not have noticed the details because tbh, most of her music videos have distractions from people knowing the meaning behind all her songs, which is why some continue to believe it's just a theory. Tell you what, it's not. Even the lyrics prove my point
