The First Day Of My New Life

"Hurry up mom!" I yell as she runs down the stairs.
"Sorry sweetie I had to do my hair"
"You realize we're going to be in the car for about 12 hours and your doing your hair"
"There might be cute guys on the way there"
"MOM!"
"Sorry sweetie, do you have everything?"
"Yeah, now it's time to leave Wisconsin and say hello to Mystic Falls" I say almost crying.
"We will come back twice a year to see our friends and family" Mom said as we walk out of what is now our old house.
"Bye" I mumble to myself
On our way to Mystic Falls, it starts to storm really bad and we can't see anything.
"Mom maybe we should stop somewhere till the storm stops"
"It's fine sweetie"
I yell at my mom as we see a guy standing in the street.
"Mom!"
She stops the car and the man comes up to the car and i look in his blue eyes and as he stares at me he says something.
"Katherine?"
"No I'm Emily Gilbert"
"Sorry"
Then he says something as my mom and I look into his blue eyes and says
"You won't remember me. Understand?"
We shake our heads and we keep on driving.
10 hours later we reach Mystic Falls.
We pull into our new driveway. It's in what seems to be a nice neighborhood.
"Wow this is really nice" I say looking at my mom.
"Yeah, now lets get inside the moving trucks should be here soon"
We walk inside and we see a big kitchen and living room. Then we walk upstairs and we see 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
"It's nice" I say to my mom who is currently walking upstairs.
"Yeah it's big"
After the trucks get here we move everything inside and start to unpack.
"Honey why don't you go walk around town i'll be fine" My mom asked me
"Okay, Can I take the car"
"Fine but be careful"
I walk out the door and get into the car.
I head into town not really knowing where to go, then I find a restaurant.
Mystic Falls Grill. As I walk in I see a girl that looks exactly like me.
"Um..hello"
"Hi..." She says looking up.
"Why do we look alike?"
"Are we twins?"
"No I'm the only child"
"And I only have a brother"
"We can't be"
I walk away and go to my car and head home.
"Mom!"
"What happened?"
"Do I have a twin cause I just talked to someone that looks exactly like me"
"I was going to tell you but your father died and I didn't know how"
"A simple hey you have a twin would have helped"
"I'm sorry"
I walk up to my soon to be finished room and I just think about the girl.
