They got to the store and ran up to the counter. There weren't any customers, it was the middle of the day! "NATE NATE NATE NATE NAAATEE!!" Sami yelled "Woah Woah Woooah! Hold your horses. What happened?" Nate said, startled by their sudden appearance. "Our hideout got robbed last night!" Sami said with a frown "Oh my.. I'm sorry to hear about that! But I can't help you, I got caught last time I snuck you guys some food.." Nate said "Well this time we're here to ask for a job!" Logan said "Oof... Sorry guys, my dad won't hire anyone else. He doesn't trust people who aren't family.." Nate said sadly "Awwhh.. That sucks.." Sami said, dissapointed "Again, very sorry.." Nate said before the others left the convenience store, all now upset. "That was a waste of time." Ace said. "Well.. There's still other places so.. Don't get your hopes down!" Marine said with a small smile on her face. "Maybe we can get a job at the roller skating place?" Sami asked, her dissapointment washing off after she thought of that "Ooh yeah, good idea!" Logan said "I don't mind, uuh where is it again?" Vero asked. She was still pretty new to this town. "Follow mee!" Sami smiled and started walk-running. The others quickly followed. After alot of walking. They finally got there. A brunette girl with braces greeted them. "Hello there, welcome to the roller rink. What's your shoe size?" she asked, her tone more annoyed. "Oh no no no, we're not here to skate, not today.. We're here to apply for a job!" Sami said with a smile. "Hm.. We do have positions open for people who hand out the skates.. Do you know the basics of it?" the girl asked. "Ask for their shoe size!" Sami said, "Look for their shoe size, it's labeled." Marine continued, "Ask for them to give you their shoes!" Logan continued, "Take their shoes." Ace said, "And.. Uh... Hand them the skates?" Vero continued. "Correct. You're hired. Go get changed into your uniforms." the girl said "Wait.. What about our sizes? Don't you order-" Logan elbowed Vero to keep her quiet "Shush, they have all sizes back there." Logan whispered, Vero stayed quiet and nodded. They quickly ran over to the employee changing room and changed into their uniforms. It was a yellow shirt with purple overalls. "Woohoo! We got a job!" Sami said, practically over the moon "Let's quickly get to the open places and wait!" Marine said. They all nodded and went to the registers (?)
