The next morning was a trying one. My roomates soon saw that I was indeed not a morning person. To a bystander their efforts to wake me were hilarious. To me, they weren't so funny. At first they tried to gently shake me, to which I just rolled over less than half awake and muttered incoherently. Next Fay decided to go less easy on me. She with the help of Lavender managed push me off the bed. I responded by reaching up still less than half awake and pulled down the small throw blanket and used it as a pillow. A few tries later, they finally filled a basin with water and dumped it on me. I woke up and screamed "AAhhhhh... cold, cold."
"Get in the shower." Parvarti ordered.
"Quick," Fay added. "We have to be out of here in at least forty five minutes if we want to be on time for breakfast."
"Okay, okay." I agreed and rushed to the shower. I quickly showered (I wished for a blow dry in the bathroom, it worked) and dressed in the uniform which consisted of a plain white button down shirt, a red Gryffindor tie, a black skirt, and school robes. I added a black headband for my own personal touch along with the charm bracelet my father gave me before I came.
I met the girls at the door and we giddily left the dormitory. On the way Lavender asked me how I got my hair dry so fast. I told her and she did a mini freak out.
"Shh..." I told her, trying hard not to giggle.
"I love that counter!" She whispered.
"I think we all do." Hermione replied.
It was a good thing we got a head start because if we hadn't we would have been really late. I can't say that I'm fond of the switching staircases. Without Hermione's level headed thinking we probably would have never have made it to breakfast.
We came in and found seats next to Harry and Ron. To my right was Harry, to my left was Hermione, next to her was Fay, across from Harry was Ron, next to Ron were Pavarti and Lavender.
We received our schedules and then we started eating. Our schedules were full to say the least. We had about four classes a day each about an hour and a half long. The schedule looked something like this:
