Vampire king and queen

   Jayden opened his eyes when he felt Kayla move away from him on the bed. He slowly moved her back into his arms. The blanket covered both of them only to the waist level and Kayla was still asleep.

Jayden felt a bit anxious. He hoped Kayla wouldn't forget what happened the previous night. She had accepted him and he hoped this morning wouldn't be awkward. They had also shared a kiss. Honestly, he had attempted kissing her a hundred times throughout the night but he had to hold back.

He wanted her to be fully awake to make sure she was in her right senses when she said yes to him.

Kayla finally started to stir awake. She slowly opened her eyes and quickly realized she was halfway on top of Jayden. Memories of the previous night flooded her mind and a small smile appeared on her lips.

She had finally had her first kiss and it was with Jayden, a vampire. Jayden felt the change in the way her heart was beating and he knew she was awake. He closed his eyes, pretending to be asleep.

Kayla raised her head from his chest to look at his face. She stared at him for a while. He looked really handsome with his eyes closed. He also looked peaceful, like he's never hurt a fly before.

Kayla used her finger in drawing a line from his forehead, over his nose and stopped at his lips, she stared at them. Those were same lips that kissed her last night.

Am I dreaming? Jayden. This unearthly handsome man is my boyfriend. He's actually mine. She thought as her smile grew wider. She leaned closer and perked him on his lips only for the side of his lip to pull up in a small smile, but his eyes remained closed.

     Now. Only now did Kayla remember that he still was a vampire and probably wasn't sleeping. She quickly tried to get away but before she could even try. Jayden opened his eyes and pulled her closer

" Someone's stealing kisses huh?" He teased, causing Kayla's cheeks to flush pink immediately. She tried struggling to pull away but his grip was firm. He rolled over, putting her under him and he smiled.

" Actually, stealing kisses is fine. But at least, take responsibility for it" he teased again and Kayla covered her face with her hands in embarrassment. Jayden's smile widened at her reaction.

   One week later, they had gone back to the school already. The whole school had now known about Jayden and Kayla's relationship.

Stella and Riya had apologised to Kayla . She forgave them but she knew they only came back so they could be friends with MR HANDSOME'S GIRLFRIEND To gain favours. Therefore, she didn't hangout with them. She only talked to them when ever they talked to her, just the way she treated every body else, which was still very rare since Jayden was quite clingy.

She was still friends with Max and he did hang out with her and the dreaded four sometimes. Jayden appreciated the fact that Max stood with Kayla when she had no one but that didn't mean he wasn't jealous whenever he saw Kayla with him or any male at all.

Max did reconcile with Riya and Stella as well. Now, Chloe wasn't happy at all. But there was nothing she could do. Kayla was going to be her queen so she had to pretend to like her if she didn't want to suffer in the future.

     Jayden told Kayla they'd have to meet his parents. She was scared because they had to go to the palace according to Jayden which held only vampires. But she knew she had to go there if she wanted to be with Jayden. She also had to be brave.

The day they were to visit his parents was drawing close and this was only two weeks after they started dating.

Jayden finally took her to the palace which was far away from the city. They went far into the  forest and soon arrived at a lovely pathway. The castle was on top of hills. It looked dark and scary but also very majestic and huge as it stood alone in the far distance.

They got to the castle and without Knocking, the heavy gates opened. Kayla held Jayden's arm tightly, her heart beating loudly. Jayden placed his hand on hers to assure her everything was okay.

They entered the main building and were welcomed by a large hall. A lot of stand by guards and a few females bowed immediately. They walked down into a hallway and everyone they came across stopped and bowed until they past before they moved.

Kayla felt she was in some sort of historical times because they were currently in the modern and civilized world where presidents ruled and there were no such servants.

She still clung tight to Jayden since she knew they were all vampires and her thoughts were everywhere but positive. Would they accept her? Would they think she's too weak just like Martin and Chloe thinks? Would they kill her since she's human and knows about them? Would they make her forget about Jayden and everything else? Would Jayden even stand up for her?.

Her thoughts were distracted by the sound of a large door by the side that was opened by two vampire guards who stood by it. Kayla froze for a second. This hall was also massive. Jayden then stepped in with her. Kayla looked forward and saw a man seated on a throne and a woman seated on a smaller throne. Both of them dressed in so much jewelry and wealth.

The vampire king and queen. Jayden's parents. She thought. Only then did she realize she was dressed very ordinarily. Her hair was let down and she was on skinny jeans, a fitted t-shirt and a sandal like shoe.

They got to them. Jayden bowed his head slightly and Kayla quickly imitated him.
" Father. Mother" He spoke so calmly as he raised his head. Kayla also raised her head.
" Welcome son" The Man said with a wide smile on his face. He didn't look old at all. He looked like he was Jayden's older brother.

I know this looks like an epilogue. Lol. But no, it's not. I had to set some things out before um well.. going further.
