The sun peeked through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the cozy apartment. Ruka stirred, her eyes slowly opening to the sight of Rita still wrapped in her arms, her face serene and content. The memories of the previous night played like a sweet melody in Ruka's mind, filling her with a deep sense of contentment.
Rita shifted slightly, her eyes fluttering open. She looked up at Ruka, a lazy smile spreading across her face. "Morning, love," she murmured, her voice still thick with sleep.
Ruka leaned down to press a gentle kiss on Rita's forehead. "Morning," she replied softly. "Did you sleep well?"
Rita nodded, stretching like a satisfied cat. "Better than ever," she said, her smile widening. "Thanks to you."
They lay in comfortable silence for a few moments, simply enjoying the closeness. Eventually, Ruka broke the silence with a playful smirk. "So, are you ready to face the day? Or do you need a few more rounds of my magic touch?"
Rita laughed, a sound that warmed Ruka's heart. "As tempting as that sounds, I think we should at least try to get out of bed," she said, sitting up and running a hand through her tousled hair. "We have a whole day ahead of us, after all."
Ruka sighed dramatically, but she couldn't hide the smile on her face. "Fine, fine. But only because you asked so nicely."
They reluctantly left the comfort of their bed, getting dressed and heading to the kitchen. Rita started making coffee while Ruka rummaged through the fridge for breakfast ingredients. They moved around each other with an ease born of familiarity, their movements a dance of domestic bliss.
As they sat down to eat, Rita glanced at the pile of photo albums still on the carpet. "You know," she said thoughtfully, "we never did finish going through those."
Ruka followed her gaze and chuckled. "Yeah, we got a little... distracted."
Rita grinned, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Maybe we should finish what we started. Who knows what other embarrassing treasures are hidden in there?"
Ruka rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "Fine, but if we're going to do this, we're doing it right." She stood up and walked over to the albums, picking one up and returning to the table. "Ready to dive back into the past?"
Rita nodded eagerly, and they resumed their journey through Ruka's old photos. They laughed and teased each other, the morning passing in a blur of nostalgia and affection.
As they reached the end of the last album, Ruka turned to Rita with a thoughtful expression. "You know," she said slowly, "we should start our own album. One that's just about us and our journey together."
Rita's eyes lit up. "I love that idea," she said, her excitement palpable. "We can document all our adventures, our special moments... everything."
Ruka smiled, feeling a surge of love for the woman beside her. "It's a promise, then," she said, leaning in to kiss Rita gently. "We'll create something beautiful together."
Meanwhile, in the room next to them, Asa woke up and stretched languidly, feeling the warmth of Minji's body next to hers. Minji was still fast asleep, her face peaceful and content. Asa couldn't help but smile at the sight. She cherished these quiet moments before the day began, but today she felt a playful urge bubbling up inside her.
Asa carefully slid out of bed, trying not to disturb Minji. She tiptoed over to her desk and rummaged through a drawer until she found what she was looking for: a black marker. Giggling softly to herself, she returned to the bed, marker in hand. Asa hovered over Minji's sleeping form, the marker poised above her face.
With the precision of an artist, she began to draw. First, a thick, curly mustache. Then, she added a pair of bushy eyebrows for good measure. Stepping back to admire her handiwork, Asa struggled to contain her laughter. Minji, blissfully unaware, continued to sleep soundly.
