She'd always avoid him because she bears the regret of what she did to Shotaro in the past. The fact that Shotaro kept being nice to her only made her feel even more guilty, she doesn't understand why he continues to be so nice. Can't he just hate her for once? Second year of high school
"Sorry for asking you to meet up at this time." Shotaro stated as Sena stares at the time on her phone that displayed the number 00:00, meaning that it was already the next day before she looks over at him. "No worries. I got used to sneaking out. Why'd you want to meet Taro-kun." She asks, though she probably already had a hunch of what he wanted to talk about. She was a bit scared, nervous, but as well relieved at the same time.
"I wanted to talk about us." He answers and looks her in the eyes. Sena wanted to look away so badly, the guilt getting to her, but his eyes were so pure that she felt bad if she looked away. "Ok, continue. Do you think there's something wrong with us?" She says. "Yeah, I feel as if you've been avoiding me lately. When I try to talk to you in school, you just ignore me. I don't recall ever doing anything to you Sena, am I being too annoying because I just want to be with you?" He started off as he pulls his legs closer to his chest. Hugging them as he had a small frown on his face.
"You didn't do anything bad to me. I'm just really busy in school." She came up with an excuse. "Are you sure? Because when I greet you when you're with your friends, you look startled and alarmed and your friends give me those looks. A look that gives off the vibe that they're judging me." He says.
