Roses have many different meanings
the beauty of the petals
the sting of the thorns.
White roses are simple and pure
with meanings of innocence and fertility
Red roses symbolize true love
through highs and through lows together
Black roses however, have two meanings, both beautiful and grim
Loyalty and love alongside mortality and mourning, the reality of life
to mourn one must have once loved
and to love one will mourn
