"YUVIKA MAHAJAN HAYE HAYE!"
"MS. MAHAJAN KYA AAP NE SACH ME APNE HI DADA BABU KO DHOKHA DIYA?"
"AGAR NAHI TOH MR DIGVIJAY MAHAJAN KO APNA CASE KYUN WAPAS LENA PADA?"
The bustling atmosphere of the police station is filled with murmurs and curious glances as Yuvika, her face pale and eyes red from sleepless nights, walks out of a holding cell. She holds her breath, trying to keep her composure, but her distress is evident. The air is thick with tension.
"How do you respond to the charges of impersonation?
Yuvika faltered for a moment, clenching her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her palms. Vidur, who was standing a few feet away, rushed to her side, trying to shield her from the aggressive crowd. "Please, give her some space. This is not the time for questions," he pleaded with the reporters.
The cacophony became overwhelming. Yuvika's vision blurred, and for a moment, she felt as if she might collapse. Vidur placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, his voice gentle but firm.
"Yuvika bete! Ghar chalo"
But Yuvika shook her head. A cold resolve washed over her. Without a word, she started walking away, her expression blank, eyes staring straight ahead. The reporters, momentarily taken aback by her cold demeanor, parted to let her through.
Vidur followed closely behind, still trying to calm the media. "Please, respect her privacy. No more questions," he urged.
As they moved further from the crowd, Yuvika's pace quickened. The questions and taunts still echoed in her mind, but she didn't turn back. Her heart ached, but her face remained emotionless.
Vidur caught up to her, his concern palpable. "Yuvika, are you alright?"
She didn't respond, her eyes fixed on the horizon. Vidur tried again, his voice softer. "Bete don't worry! Hum sab hai tumhare saath"
Yuvika stopped, finally looking at him. Her eyes were filled with unshed tears, but her voice was steady and cold. "Mujhe mere haal pe chodh dijiye Vidur uncle. Please!"
Yuvika pushed through the throng of reporters, their questions and flashing cameras a blur around her. She kept her head down, her heart pounding in her chest. Vidur stayed close, trying to create a path for her.
Finally, she reached the car and quickly slid into the backseat, slamming the door shut behind her. She took a deep breath, the relative quiet of the car a stark contrast to the chaos outside.
She turned and saw her mother, Bhoomi, sitting inside. Bhoomi's eyes were red from crying, and the moment she saw Yuvika, she threw her arms around her daughter, sobbing uncontrollably.
"Yuvika! Meri bacchi!" Bhoomi cried, her voice choked with emotion. "Tujhe pata hai main kitna darr gayi thi?"
Yuvika sat stiffly, not returning the embrace. She stared out the window, her face a mask of cold detachment. After a few moments, she gently pushed Bhoomi away.
"Sab khatam hogaya," Yuvika said, her voice flat and emotionless. "I failed."
Bhoomi pulled back, her tear-streaked face filled with confusion and concern. "Nahi Yuvika! Aisa nahi hai. Tu aisa kyun soch rahi hai? "
Yuvika shook her head, her eyes empty. "Nahi mummy! Main jail se isliye bahar nahi aayi kyunki mera innocence prove ho paya. Isliye kyunki Digvijay ne apni case wapas leli. Duniya ki nazron me main abhi bhi guilty hun."
Bhoomi reached out, trying to touch Yuvika's hand, but Yuvika pulled away, her gaze fixed on the horizon outside the car. Bhoomi's tears flowed freely as she tried to find the right words to comfort her daughter.
