"Mom, I didn't think I made you proud this time.", Terry said, while his mom was at work. (She works from home just so you know, also she was done with her work so she had a break)
"Why, honey? What's the matter?", asked his mother.
"I didn't win the Science Quiz Bee! I didn't win the Local Art Contest! I didn't get High Honors! Are you still proud of me?", cried Terry.Terry's Mother stood up from her chair and approached Terry.
"Terry, you know I am still proud of you. All of your achievements have made me very happy! Don't just focus on your flaws, you have attributes that make you cooler. Look at the shelf over there."
Terry looks at his shelf and looks at all kinds of medals of his. He still thinks it's not adequate to be seen as great.
"See, your medals are all shining bright and clear! Don't worry, I will make you snacks for you so you can feel better."
Terry's Mother goes down the stairs and into the kitchen.
