We really were going to Louisiana. Madds was fidgeting the whole journey, which I totally get. We passed through security pretty easily, but the staff were questionable about Maddie's suitcase full of basketballs. But when they passed them through the metal detector twice, I told them to just put them back and that we were basketballers. "I love you, Digbert Smalls" was Maddie's thank you. In the VIP lounge (Thanks Liv!), we just watched the airfield for what seemed like aaaaages untill our plane finally arrived.
4 hours later, after boarding That flight was torture. We had a screaming baby behind us that kept kicking our chairs and the mom did nothing. Actually!! And we didn't sleep a wink. But - I can't believe it - we did it! We are officially in New Orleans?
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and... 6! This was our bag collection point. Maddie was agitated the whole journey, but now she seems more relaxed.
We got to our hotel. My only reaction was: "Wow."
Maddie fell asleep in the taxi so I carried her up to our room. This was our room:
