~a few hours later~
"So I guess this is no help.." Levi says rolling his eyes and scoffing
"Hey did you find anything?" Elijah says walking back after playing on some monkey bars.
"Do pigs fly?" Levi asks raising an eyebrow.
"No..?" Elijah says confused
"Then there's your answer" Levi says rolling his eyes and shutting the laptop withhis free hand
"Ugh..this is hell" Elijah says, sitting down by a nearby tree and leaning back on it
"Tell me about it" Levi says with a huff
They both sat there in silence not knowing what to do the only thing Elijah could think about was his parents. And if he would ever even be remembered or for this instance 'exist' And how would they even get back to where they originally was? He was stumped on that part he just wanted his regular life back and he wasn't doubting that Levi wanted the same.
"Hey do you feel...weird?" Levi said breaking the silence.
"Yeah.. I do feel a little woozy...and I kind of feel like my body is floating" Elijah said still looking down at the grass below him
"must be the effect of us slowly fading away." Levi says without a second thought.
Elijah froze "excuse me...?" Elijah says looking worried.
"What did you think that we were going to stay in this world when nobody, nobody even has data of us? Or any proof of our existence? To them, we are just some random person a stranger there is no record of us. You thought we were going to stay here? Don't make me laugh. We're slowly fading away because Something out there is taking us away because we aren't supposed to be here anymore."
Levi says getting a little agitated and annoyed.
Elijah looked baffled and then looked back down at the ground "...but.." he started sniffling
Levi's eyes went half-lided annoyed "don't start crying. I don't do well with emotions..."
Elijah put his head into his knees "I don't wanna go yet...I wa-wanna...live...I-i" Elijah kept sputtering words oblivious Levi getting Annoyed
"Listen dude. There's nothing we can do I'm not giving you false hope Just so you can turn out to be disappointed." Levi said kind of aggressive
Elijah went silent for a few seconds before getting up and walking away to a nearby bench and setting down on it
Levi knew that he messed up from the silence, "fuck...Elijah!"
