CHAPTER 31

"This moon, these clouds and this whole sky will see Arjun and Nakshatra becoming one, together forever."

Saying so he picked her up, while she wrapped her arms around his neck for support as he carried her downstairs to their room.

Her tired eyes went to him as he pulled her closer, covering her with a blanket while she placed her head on his chest tiredly, closing her eyes as she was exhausted.

Finally he went to the closet and brought out his clean shirt, dressing her in it. He switched the lights off and layed down beside her, pulling her to him, as he covered themselves with a blanket.

A small smile spread on his lips, as he felt her snoring lightly. Kissing her forehead gently, he whispered to himself‐

"Ye apka diya hamein sabse khoobsurat tohfa hai, bhagwaan. Iss tohfe ke liye hum hamesha apke shukr guzaar rahenge. Hamari zindagi mein inhe bhejne ke liye apka bohot shukriya."

("This is the most beautiful gift that you have give me God. I will always be thankful to you for this gift. Thank you for sending her in my life.")

He said as he drifted off to sleep.
