𝟏𝟖 | 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧

I wake up on a grass field, and I'm wearing a white, fairy-like dress. "Oh my god." I breathe out. I'm back, I think. I get up and I walk in the same direction I walked on my eighteenth birthday. Through the forest, through the river, past the flower fields, until I reach the gazebo. So, I am back.

"Hello dear, it's good to see you again." "Miss Antoinette." "I told you you would see me soon. So, I saw you figured out you can use your magic." "Yes I did. Can we get back to all the questions I had last time." "I promise dear we will, but this is just a short visit. Your boyfriend is worried." "But I need answers. What am I? I mean, why can I suddenly use magic? How.." 

"Dear, I know it's a lot, but we don't have time for that right now. Believe me, your time will come, but we need to talk about Silas." 

"Silas? What does everyone have with him? Who is he?" "He was the world's first immortal being. Two thousand years ago, there was this witch, Quetsiyah. She was in love with Silas. They were supposed to get married, and they would become immortal. But Silas was seeing someone else, Amara. Silas betrayed Quetsiyah, and he became immortal with Amara. Quetsiyah immobilized Silas, and gave Amara her punishment. Anyway, that story is not important for now, and you'll find it out later."

"That's cruel." I say. "But what is the thing with him? Why does Shane wanna raise him, and why does Kol says he shouldn't?" I ask. "Kol is right dear, there is no way Silas can be raised. He'll bring hell upon the Earth and will kill everyone you love. It's time for you to go sweety." "but miss, I still have questions." "Just like I said last time, I'll see you soon. Now, protect your friends and make sure nobody raises Silas, understood?" "Yes Ma'am." "Good, now doo what you have to do, and I'll see you soon dear." Miss Antoinette says before everything goes black."

I gasp and I sit right up. I'm in my room, with Kol and Care. "You're awake, good." Kol says. "What happened?" Care asks. "I saw miss Antoinette again. She needed to talk to me, it was urgent." "What was it about?" Kol asks. "Silas."

"Silas? What do you mean, Silas?" He asks. "Just like I said, Silas. Miss Antoinette says you're right and that there is no freaking way we can wake him up." I say and Care frowns. "She explained that without the freaking." I clarify and she nods. "I get that you guys want the cure, but Shane cannot raise Silas. Silas will bring Hell upon Earth."

"Where did Kol go?" I ask as I enter the living room. "I don't know, he said he had to take care of something." "Hmm." I reply. "Look, Rory, I'm sorry about lying to you, okay? I know it was wrong, and stupid and I won't do it again." Care says and I nod. "I know that you're sorry Care, just don't do it again. Oh and by the way, you snitching on Elena, not cool."

"Come one, he had the right to know." "I know and he does, but she specifically told you not to tell. And I know he had to know, but she said she would tell him. And this isn't exactly helping our friendship. Next time, just think about it, okay?" "Fine."

I walk through the forest with Care and I call Kol. "You better call me back, because I'm going to kill you when I find you. Compelling Damon to kill Jeremy, seriously? What did I tell you? You know what, I'm not gonna fight with you over voicemail, just get back to Mystic Falls." I say angrily and I hang up. "I cannot believe him." I sigh.

"We need to find Damon before he kills Jeremy." Care says. "I know, I cannot believe Kol did this." "I hear something." Care says as she grabs my arm and speeds us away. "Shoot now!" Damon says." Jeremy shoots but Stefan speeds Damon against a tree and snaps his neck. "Thank god." I sigh. "You're welcome." Stefan says.

I storm into the Mikaelson mansion, Care following me. "Kol are you here? Kol? If you're here, don't you dare ignore me!" I yell as I enter the living room. "He's not here love." Nik says as he also enters the living room. "Then where is he?" "I have no idea, after he almost killed Rebekah with the white oak, he left and he's probably planning a homicide." Nik says. "Klaus, not helping." Care says.

"He tried to kill Bonnie this morning, I need to find him." I say. "I'm gonna try and call him again." I say as I dial his number and try to call him. "Kol I know you got my messages, and that you tried to kill both Rebekah and Bonnie, after you compelled Damon to kill Jeremy. What were you thinking? You promised. Call me back, and stop almost killing people or I swear to god I will kill you." I say and I hang up. 

"This is the tenth message I left him, he's driving me crazy." I sigh in frustration. "Love, calm down." "Don't tell me to calm down! Kol is on some sort of almost-killing spree, and he's ignoring all my texts and calls!" Care puts her hand on my shoulder. "Calm down, we will find him." "I gotta go, feel free to stay here, or look for my brother. I'll let you know when I find him." Nik says and he leaves.

I have been looking for Kol all day. I have been spamming him with texts and calls until I wasn't able to leave any messages anymore. I'm so freaking pissed at him. Care disappeared, she said she had something to do. Now I'm walking in the dark, still looking for Kol, when Nik calls me. "Hi Nik, what's going on?" "We have a problem."

I run through the streets of Mystic Falls. I run into Elena's street. I just need to get to her house, before Kol kills them. I approach Elena's house, inside of it I see Kol burning until he turns into ashes. I breathe heavily, this is not happening. No, no, no, no. "No!" I yell and Nik turns around. "No, no, no, no, no, no! He's not dead. He can't be, he is not dead. Oh my god, no!" I cry. 

"What did you do?" "We didn't have a choice, he tried to cut off Jeremy's arm." "Lies, he never would've gotten inside if you hadn't set a trap for him." "You said you were gonna put him down too." "I was gonna make him suffer on my terms!" Nik yells. "I'm gonna burn this house to the ground, and then when you try to flee for your lives I'll kill you without blinking." 

I can vaguely hear their conversation but I can't concentrate. All I can hear is my heavy breathing and my heart beating. All I see is Kol on fire. "Nik. Tell me he's not dead. He can't be dead. No..." I cry and it starts raining, very, very, hard. So much for having control over my magic. I get up. "I'm going to kill you..." I say referring to Jeremy and Elena and they look shocked.

 "Aurora.." "No, shut up! You killed him! You fucking killed him! And now I'm gonna kill you!" I yell, but it starts storming and my vision is getting very vague. I start coughing, but like really bad. Till the point I start coughing up blood. After that I just blacked out.

I wake up and I try to remember what happened. My throat feels like a freaking desert, and I have one hell of a headache. I focus and then I remember, just when Care comes in. "You're awake." She says and I just nod, not being able to bring out words.

"Did you, um, see miss Antoinette?" She asks and I shake my head. "Okay, well Klaus just left, but I'm sure he'll come back later. Aurora, are you okay? Okay, that was a stupid question, I just.. come here." She says and she engulfs me in a hug. I don't say anything, I don't hug her back. I just sit on the bed and I let her hug me.

Care hands me a glass of water and I drink it. A tear streams down my face. Care hugs me. "I can't, Caroline. He cannot be dead. He can't, he just can't, no.." I cry. "Shh, calm down, I'm here for you." "He's dead, Caroline." I say as I get out of the hug and look at her with tears in my eyes. "He's gone, and I didn't get to say goodbye. I didn't get to say that I loved him."

Second chapter of today, I thought let's write another one. Okay I'm sad now, sorry for killing him, but uhm yeah. Don't worry, he'll come back. And not as late as he came in the originals, he'll come back sooner.

This chapter really was a rollercoaster, and we'll see how the next couple of chapters go. This will probably be an event that will kinda change Aurora, but believe me, Kol will be back sooner than you think.
