In the deep reaches of space near our solar system, a massive ship was firing upon two ships up ahead was a sleeker smaller ship while the one that was between them was a crude circular ship with a round bubble cockpit. It acted as a shield taking the brunt of the attack, but it was clear its integrity wasn't going to last.
Inside of the ship in its command deck casted in shadow was a large being he sit in the center observing, with automated droids serving as its crew.
"Progress report" he sneered. an android turns to face him, "the ship has been taking the brunt of our attacks. Hull damage seventy percent."
The large being growled gritting his teeth in annoyance. "He and his kind has been a thorn in my side for centuries... how appropriate for the final remnants to be crushed by my hand." he leans forward revealing his green pigmentation and an octopus like head, he has red and black armor with cyber enhancement. "Let him join with his brothers!"

In space the ship continued its assault, pelting the ship with blaster bolts. The ship ahead sees this, and reaches out to her ally. "You have to jump ahead, now!"
"I know, but we'll have a better chance if you make it out here."

With much reluctance, he punched in coordinates, the third planet near the sun. Once done he twists a lever and pulls it, resulting in the the engine to start humming. Being an older ship, it needs to build up the appropriate amount energy to inter lightspeed. As it was reaching its apex, the back of thew ship blows out. Throwing him forward and prematurely pushing down the lever. The ship hum before taking off, flying past the ship in front of him.
"Sir, he took off in light speed." the android announced.
Clicking his tongue he leans back to his seat. "It matters not. With the damage that it was dealt. it will be torn apart while at light speed, along with him. now shoot down the ship"
They began to shoot the remaining ship barely evading its shots.
"Let his death mark their crusade and the start of mine. They'll be no one in the cosmos to stand in my path of conquest."
