THE GIRLS SAT IN THE BARN TOGETHER LAUGHING WITH CUPS IN THE HANDS. Just as Milani started to take a sip from her cup the lights and music shut off abruptly, getting the girl's attention. "What the hell," Milani spoke.

"What happened?" Emily asked as she looked around.

"It must be the storm," Spencer responded. Just then, a squeak blared. Milani looked towards the barn doors immediately, with a hint of scare in her eyes.

"Something's out there," Aria commented.

The door of the barn soon opens, and Hanna speaks up in fear, "Guys." They all get up together, Milani grabbing ahold of Hanna's hand as she did. They all walked towards the door in fear as they gathered closely together. The sound of a glass breaking sent Milani slightly jumping, the group of girls shouting at the door once Ali came in sight.

"Gotcha!" Ali said with a smile, giggling at the girls. A gasp of relief came from a few of the girls before they released each other.

"That's so not funny," Spencer commented.

"Literally!" Milani said in annoyance as all laughed together and settled back onto the sofas. Once they were sat Milani sat down sipping from her drink and going through her phone.

"Ali, did you download the new Beyoncé?" Hanna asked.

"Not yet," Alison responded with a smile.

"I'm loving her new video," Emily added in.

"Maybe a little too much, Em." Alison continued with the same grin. Milani lowered her phone as she gazed up at the sound of the comment, sort of eyeing the blonde as she gave a cup to Aria. "Your turn. Go on." Alison gestured to Aria.

Aria started to drink from the cup almost immediately. "Woah Aria," Milani commented beside them.

"Careful, Aria. Take too much, and you'll tell us all your secrets." Spencer also remarked.

"Friends share secrets. That's what keeps us close." Alison declared, "Drink up." To this, Aria continued to drink and the group continued with their small party.

Throughout the night, Milani kept glancing at her phone, her fingers twitching with impatience. The screen would light up with notifications, but none from the person she desperately wanted to hear from. Alison noticed the behavior, her eyes narrowing suspiciously.

Finally, Alison couldn't hold back any longer. "What's going on, Lani?" she asked, her voice cutting through the chatter in the barn.

Milani looked up, startled. "What?" she stammered, hurriedly putting her phone down and trying to mask the anxiety in her voice.
