Some facts:
Sabrina would like- not trust anyone right away, because her mother was betrayed by someone she fell in love with a long time ago, she trusted him right away, so she was betrayed, now Sabrina is cautious, since her mother told her to not trust anyone right away
The nickname "Beastie" came from her mother (mom, mother, same thing), and Sabrina only calls people "Beastie" if she trusts them a lot, and cares about them, so it never happens, until she actually trusted Halsin
Of course Halsin has told her what poly is (sexuality), but he did say that she doesn't have to get with anyone else and he doesn't have to get with anyone else because she's enough for him, so it'll just be her and Halsin, she knows it doesn't mean that he stopped being poly, she may not know anything about sexualities, but she does know that they don't just suddenly stop being what they are
It's known that her father "went mad", Sabrina never knew how, but all she knew is that it got to the point where he almost got her and her brother killed (by poisoning them), because he "wants them to be released", "they'll be close together again", the mother never knew what he meant, never knew what happened to him to make him mad, but her first instinct was to take her children away, and never see him again
