I reached my firm on my bike. I was wearing a brown suit with matching shoes. Ansh woke up when I was all ready to go. I wished everyone and a smile popping on their lips as soon as they saw me. I walked near the elevator and got inside and pressed my floor's button. As soon as I got out someone pulled my ear.
"Ouch, ouch what the fu- oh Edwina" I saw her pulling my ear. This women takes the benefits on being older than me. She acts like my mom sometimes. Her glasses were making her look scary today. Is it because we didn't invite her? No actually we did invite her she only decided not to show up. Ok so did I mess up with something or is it because I showed up a bit out of time.
"Ummm you are pulling my ear because....." I furrowed my ear in confusion. She smiled. Humourlessly. Oh, I am not scared just trying to hide my laugh.
"Mr. Roy Raichand, because of your damn party last night you were about to miss a important case today. Be ready, in half an hour we are in court." She said and left my ear and I scoffed behind and went in my office to go through notes I have got for my case. The lawyer is known for his losses. He will lose this case too. My client, who had lots of courage to show up to the police and tell her case, was sexually abused along with many other girls.
While the others, were scared by the man my client was not. So here I am. Edwina came in and told me that we have to go now. I got in my lawyer dress and walked out of my office. My car was waiting for me along with Edwina and I got in. As it was rush hour the traffic rate was high so it took us time to get to the court.

We reached the court in about an hour and had 15 minutes till the hearing started. When I got out of my car reporters fled my way. Asking questions and questions. Congratulating me on my win against Malhotra. I just smiled and entered the court. My client waiting for me as we both got inside the court room. The lawyer of the rapist was shaking. The fear of losing was shining bright in his eyes.
"Stand up" They said as the judge entered. He knew me. His eyes knew who was going to win the case.
"My honour, my client here. Miss. Mittal along with many other girls had been sexually abused by the man sitting there. Many girls have been suffering from trauma due to this and many have developed severe diseases. They had been scared by this man that if they tell the police or anyone about this he will kill her whole family. Miss.Mittal gathered lots of courage to go to the police and file a report." I said my face stern. The judge nodded and moved his head towards the opponent team.
"My-my Hon-honour" The lawyer stuttered. Everyone laughed when the judge said
"Quiet!" and banged his hammer. The laughing stopped and their was pin drop silence. He again moved his head to the lawyer who was still contemplating what to speak.
"I can't do this, my honour. He is a rapist and he has destroyed many lives. He deserved jail" He said and with that he ran out of the court room. The judge was shocked about what had just happened but he again banged his hammer.
