At the school

Rowan got out of his car and got the wheelchair out. He carried Maddie onto the wheelchair and wheeled her back to their dorm.

Maddie:
"You know that means I need to learn how to cook in a wheelchair."

Rowan:
"No you will not, I will cook."

Maddie:
"I guess I am teaching you how to cook."

Rowan:
"I guess you are."

Maddie:
"Are you sure you can look after me in a wheelchair?"

Rowan:
"I will try my best like I always do."

Maddie:
"That's true but am I not heavy enough for you to carry me to your car."

Rowan:
"No you are not."

Maddie:
"Ok if you say so and I am going to cook in my wheelchair you can just help me."

Rowan:
"Maddie."

Maddie:
"Please."

Rowan:
"How about we both cook instead."

Maddie:
"I like that."

Rowna:
"Me too."

Maddie:
"I love you Rowna as a father daughter kind of way."

Rowna:
"I love you too as a father and daughter kind of way Maddie."

Later On That NIght

Rowan is helping Maddie have a shower and get herself ready for bed. Maddie is embarrassed that he has to do all this for her but cant do it herself as she hates that so much but she knows that he loves doing it because he is the dad after all even if she is not ready to call him dad yet.

Rowan:
"All done."

He finishes bathing her, helps her out of the tub and sits her on the toilet, dries her off, dresses her in her favourite pyjamas. Maddie brushes her own teeth and Rowan carries her to bed, lays her down, tucks her in, kisses her head.

Rowan:
"Good night maddie."

Maddie:
"Good night Rowan."

Rowan:
"Would you like to feed before bed?"

Maddie nods and Rowan smiles, lays down next to her without a shirt on. Maddie latches on and starts to feed off Rowa. Rowan smiles and sings softly Maddie keeps feeding while half asleep

20 Minutes Later

Maddie falls completely asleep so Rowan rubs her back while she feeds and Maddie slowly falls asleep while feeding but Rowan puts her head on his shoulder and starts to pat her back.

Maddie:
"BURPPP BURPPP BURPPP."

Rowan smiles, gets up and goes to his room, gets ready for bed*

After His Shower

Rowan dries off, puts on boxers and black sweatpants, brushes his teeth, goes to bed.

Early The Next Morning

Maddie:
"ROWAN! ROWAN!ROWAN! ROWAN! HELP!"

Maddie tried to get out of bed on her own, fell to the floor Rowan woke up to Maddie's yelling, got up and ran to her room.

Rowan:
"What happened? Why are you yelling? Are you hurt?"

Maddie:
"I tried to get up on my own and I fell."

Rowan:
"Why would you do that?"

He picks her up and sits her in bed.

Maddie:
"Because I needed to go to the bathroom."

Rowan:
"You could have just shouted for me and I would have helped you."

He takes her to the bathroom.

After She Does Her Business

Rowan carries Maddie back to her room.

Rowan:
"What would you like to wear today?"

Maddie:
"Mmm jeans and a hoodie."

Rowan:
"Okay."

He picks out a pair of light blue jeans and a floral hoodie, he helps Maddie dress herself, sits her in her wheelchair, pushes her chair out to the kitchen. Maddie waits for Rowan goes and quickly changes into joggers and a plain t-shirt, comes back.

Rowan:
"What for breakfast dear?"

Maddie:
"I want toast, bacon, and cheese eggs."

Rowan:
"Sounds good, my love."

Rowan starts making toast, cheese eggs, and bacon for breakfast Maddie plays a game on her phone.

20 Minutes Later

Rowan:
"It's ready, maddie."

Maddie wheels herself to the kitchen and Rowan sits at the table and eats. Maddie smiles and eats.

Maddie:
"It's so good, you did a good job."

Rowan:
"Why thank you Maddie."

Maddie giggles softly and continues to eat.

After Breakfast

Rowan puts the dishes in the sink, wheels maddie to the bathroom, washes his own face and brushes his teeth. Maddie washes her face and brushes her teeth. Rowan smiles at Maddie and Maddie smiles at Rowma. Rowan pushes Maddie to the door, gets both of their book bags and pushes her to class.

At Maddie class door

Rowan:
"Ok learn something and be good for it and if anyone and I mean by anyone make fun of you for being in a wheelchair you tell me and I will deal with it ok."

Maddie:
"Yes I know thank you Rowan bye love you."

Rowan;
"Bye love you too."

In Rowna class

Mark:
"Hey, how are you feeling?"

Rowan:
"Man I do not know she is in a wheelchair now my daughter no one wants to see their daughter in a wheelchair no one wants to see that ever happening to their daughter."

Mark:
"I know man and I am so sorry that I couldn't do anything to help."

Rowan:
"Hey you did you help her by bringing her back and that is all I ever wanted. Yes she can't walk and never will walk again but I am so happy that you were able to help her thank you."

Mark:
"Of course man anytime."
