I, Kei, sat in my college classroom, trying to focus on the lecturer's words, but my mind kept wandering. It was a familiar struggle, one I had faced since the start of the semester. My eyes would glaze over, and my thoughts would drift to the beauty who had captured my attention.

She was the kind of girl who made heads turn, with a graceful stride and a radiant smile. Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall, and her piercing brown eyes seemed to see right through me. I had never mustered the courage to approach her, content to admire her from afar.

As the lecturer droned on, I found myself lost in a daydream, imagining what it would be like to talk to her, to get to know her beyond the classroom. I pictured us laughing together, sharing stories, and exploring the campus. My heart skipped a beat at the mere thought of it.

Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder, and my reverie was shattered. I turned to see her standing before me, a gentle smile on her face. My heart raced as she spoke, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Kei, can I talk to you for a minute?"

I nodded, my mouth dry, as I gathered my belongings and followed her out of the classroom. We walked in silence, the tension between us palpable. I couldn't help but wonder what she wanted to say.

We reached a quiet corner of the campus, and she turned to face me. Her eyes locked onto mine, and I felt my soul tremble.

"Kei, I like you," she said, her voice steady. "I like you from the moment I saw you."

I was taken aback, my mind reeling with shock. Me? She liked me? It couldn't be true. I must have misheard her.

But her eyes held a sincerity that I couldn't deny. She was genuine, and her words sent my heart soaring.

"I...I don't know what to say," I stuttered, my face burning with embarrassment.

She smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "You don't have to say anything, Kei. I just wanted you to know how I feel."

I stood there, frozen, as she turned and walked away, leaving me with a confession that would change my life forever.
