Someone's POV:
Kei has just reached her apartment, and all she could think is about is the scene in the perfume shop. She can't get that scene out of her mind. Her heartbeat was damn fast seeing Anya so close to her and for the first time she felt something for her. To her Anya has become more beautiful and cute from seeing her so close and her lips were pink as a strawberry. She was so nervous after that scene that she couldn't utter a word to her properly. And she was ashamed of herself that she's thinking of her in that way. So, she remained silent for the rest of the time they were together. She felt relieved when she reached her apartment as she wouldn't be facing Anya anymore for that day.
Although Kei was relieved she hasn't have to face Anya that day anymore but the scene never leave her mind for a second. It was so bad that she couldn't sleep a blink that night. Her mind full of Anya's thoughts. She was ashamed for thinking that way but she can't help herself.
The next day
Anya called Kei around 7 am as usual to wake her up, knowing that Kei always overslept due to her habit of playing games late at night. Kei just pretended that she was sleeping so that Anya won't know what Kei was thinking about her. She then pretended to be awake by Anya's call. Kei then got up and took a shower and made breakfast for herself. During all this time she was thinking about yesterday's incident. She's still nervous and uncomfortable to face her. She was thinking to skip today's class and stay at the dormitory and play games to divert her mind from Anya's lips. Just as she was about to text her to tell her that she wouldn't attend the classes today there came a notification from her department chats. The lecturer had told all the students of the department to attend the classes as he would be discussing all the important topics regarding the semester exams and not only that he'll be assigning them group assignment so, all students must be present today.
"I'm doomed" she said to herself in disappointment and began to dress up for the class.
She reached the classroom at the exact assigned time given by the professor, so that she could avoid Anya coz she's still ashamed of her feelings for Anya. She can't bear to lose Anya's friendship. She's afraid that if Anya knows about her thoughts of her, she would definitely break off their friendship.
"Good morning students!" The lecturer greeted the students and began to speak about the important topics related to the syllabus and then gave them assignment which should be done in a group of four and the group members will be choosen by him and luckily Kei got team up with her crush 'Lin Achumi' along with other two students. They got the topic of modern love. They have to write a short story about that topic and even act on the story infront of everyone. It's hard to write a story with so less characters. Everyone in the class was worried about having only four members in the team.
Kei, however was happy that she is a part of Lin's group and that she can be close to her and will be able to know her more.
But there's some one who's jealousy and anger is at peak. Yeah! That's Anya. She can't control her anger and jealousy. She's cursing the professor for parting her from Kei and not only that he had grouped Kei with Lin, her biggest rival and the most hatred person in her life. But yet there's nothing she can do about.
"Hey! I'll create a WhatsApp group for this matter and will discuss our assignment there" said Riya, one of the the four girls of that group when the four students were discussing about their assignment after the class has ended.
"Ok! " Replied Lin and just left. So does everybody. They didn't talk much as they were exhausted from the classes and needed some rest.
Today was a hectic day for Kei , because of the incident yesterday she is still unable to talk to Anya properly. She's trying to avoid her hence today she went straight to her dormitory without talking to Anya.
Anya called Kei so that she could meet n see the person's face whom she loved so much and the one who makes her day bright but what she hears make her world gloomy. Kei told her that she's exhausted and have no energy left so she left for her dormitory without waiting for her and apologize for not being able to meet up.
It's around 6:00 pm and Kei is just scrolling through some reels. And then she got a text in WhatsApp. It's an unknown number and she's not familiar with it. The message reads
"Hi! It's me Lin. I want to talk to you about our group assignment"
Kei is surprised by the text, they haven't talked properly for once and today she got a text from Lin. She thanks the professor for assigning her to group with Lin.
"Yeah okay! Go on" Kei replied after staring at her message for a minute or two in the notification bar.
"Not through text, can we meet tomorrow regarding this issue at xxx restaurant?" Lin texted.
"Ok! Sure. So all of our group members are coming?" Kei asked her.
"No! Just me and you" Lin replied
"WTF! Am I hallucinating or am I in a dream? My crush just asked me to go out for lunch that too just me and her. If it is a dream please don't wake me up" said Kei to herself. She's so happy that if someone asked for her life she would give it to her/him.
It's Kei's best day of her life. Her crush has just asked for lunch together that too only her and Lin. Even if it's for the assignment.
