Kei's POV:

I woke up early, feeling excited and nervous about my lunch date with Lin. I had been looking forward to this day for what felt like an eternity. As I got ready, I couldn't help but think about how much I wanted to impress her. I chose my outfit carefully, settling on a black solid flappy wide-legged trousers with a white tank top and a black overshirt. I added a little chain with a star-shaped object and tied my hair into a messy bun. I felt confident and ready to take on the day.

As I was getting ready, I received a call from Anya. She asked me what I was up to today as today was a holiday and from her voice it seems like she wanted to meet me but I told her about my lunch with Lin to discuss about the assignment. There was a pause on the other end of the line, and I could sense her nervousness. I don't know why I had a feeling that she had feelings for me, and I didn't want to lead her on even though it is just my imagination. I wanted to be clear that I didn't feel the same way (being in delulu) ( ꈍᴗꈍ).

After the call, I received a text from Lin asking if we could go for a movie and then have lunch together and discuss about the group assignment. I don't know why only me and Lin are here to discuss the group assignment but I didn't gave much thought to it as I was happy to spend my time with Lin. So I agreed, and we made plans to meet at the theatre first and then have lunch and discuss it there about the assignment. I was excited to spend the day with her, and I couldn't wait to see her.

As I was getting ready to leave, I received another text from Anya asking where Lin and I were headed. I was taken aback by her question, but I replied anyway. I told her that we were going to the theatre and then having lunch together. She seemed concerned, but I reassured her that I would be fine.

I arrived at the theatre early, and I'm surprised that Lin was already there. She looked stunning in a white floral mini dress, her legs looking beautiful. She had light makeup on, and her hair was styled perfectly. I felt my heart skip a beat as I looked at her. We entered the hall and started watching the movie, an anime film that I had been wanting to see. I try to focus on the movie, not wanting to make it obvious that I was staring at Lin.

During the interval, I turned to look at Lin, and our eyes met. She was staring at me, and I felt my heart race. I smiled, and she smiled back. We didn't say anything much but the moment was electric. I knew in that instant that I was falling for her more.

Soon the movie ended, and we left the theatre for lunch. We walked to a nearby restaurant, chatting about the movie and our favorite anime shows. I was having the time of my life, and I didn't want the day to end. We sat down at a table, and Lin asked me about my favorite food. I told her that I loved Japanese cuisine, and she smiled. "Me too," she said. "We have a lot in common, don't we?"

I nodded, feeling a connection with her that I couldn't explain. We ordered our food, and as we waited for it to arrive, we talked some more and discuss about the group assignment. She told me that me and her has the responsibility of writing the script of the short story and our group has discussed about it and was not able to inform me because It was sudden and Riva, our group representative had assigned the roles. She gave the task of writing the the script because I and Lin was good at it as everyone knows about it as I've already wrote some short stories for YouTube some of which were successful and some were not. Apart from the assignment, we talked about our personal interest and from that I learned that she was a fan of manga and anime, just like me. We discussed our favorite shows and characters, and I felt like I had found a kindred spirit.

As we were discussing about this and that in the restaurant,
"Kei" someone with a familiar voice called me from behind. I turn to look at that person. There she was making a stern face and she look like some one who's really pissed off. She started to walk towards me and grabbed my hand and told me to walk out with her. I asked her what happened but she didn't answer any instead, she just gave a dead stare to Lin and said to her " Please stay out of our lives".
I apologised for leaving her in the middle our lunch and of Anya's behaviour.
