Thea Kelce has suffered from depression for years but Thea never told anyone so as not to worry them, her mother, Jane, was an abusive mother towards Thea and Jane left Thea with a lot of trauma.

Jane went to jail and Thea moved to live with her father, Travis, at age 12 and she has been living with her father since.

The only support Thea had during her her depression were Taylor Swift songs, especially, Folklore, which was always with her as Thea cried every night.

Travis always suspected that Thea suffered from depression but he never wanted to mention it so as not to make her feel uncomfortable or cause Thea to withdraw even more and end up worse than she already was.
