DADA JI'S HOUSE,,,,,

Early in the morning the artistic golden sun got up like a baby and started painting the dark black sky into a bright blue sky. The bright looking milky clouds woke up from sleep and started traveling around the sky. Fresh, cool, and crispy air was whistling like an invisible ghost.

"Good morning Dada Ji", Manisha said and forwarded a cup of tea to him.

"Good morning, beta", Dada Ji looked at her astoundingly.

"You are up early!", He said with a delighted tone and took the cup from her hand.

"Yup! I'm kind of a morning person, and I couldn't sleep after sunrise. I was coming downstairs for a morning walk but after seeing you from the distance I decided why not we should start our friendship with a cup of tea. My Papa say I make amazing tea.", She replied with a blooming smile.

Dada ji took a sip of tea and looked at her carefully, she was anticipating a reply.

"Ahan..the tea is fantastic, prompting this old man to accept your proposition", Dada Ji said lovingly, tapping his index finger on his chin pretending to think.

She stretched her hand forward for a handshake and said "then friends?".

"Friends", he replied with a heartfelt smile and joined her hand for a friendly handshake.

Both of them sat together, Manisha told him about her papa, dada ji and dadi, her studies, etc whereas Dada Ji also told her about his life experiences and stories.

"Vinay was managing business with me at first, but after a few years, he decided that he wants to build something on his own. He started a new business and succeeded in it and later moved to Delhi."

"When Abhishek was born he brought life to this haveli. Although he was our second grandchild, he was always a quick learner, a lively and naughty kid, you won't believe despite being younger than Elvish he started talking and walking first", Dada Ji added. His lips were stretched into a smile.

"He was born here?", Manisha asked.

"Yes. He was two years old when they shifted to Delhi. I still remember a tiny Abbu running behind me, calling me Dada Ji, Dada Ji with his little mouth". He replied with a glint of pride in his eyes.

"Abhishek is not himself these days. That lively, cheerful Abhishek is lost somewhere, but I can assure you he is a gem of a person. The sudden demise of Sara has affected him deeply, If any one of us was in his shoes we would have surely reacted the same way. Right beta? I completely understand and accept that you at the same time deserve an understanding life partner. It's your right as well. But please beta just give him some time."

She nodded. She knew dada Ji was trying to guide her.

"Beta Rishthon ko waqt dena chahye, yeh phoolon ki tarh hothay hain. Pyaar say rakho toh zindagi mehka dete hain aur khushyan bhar dete hain lekin agr torh do toh hamesha k leye bikhr jathay hain". Dada Ji patted her head.

"I understand your concern dada Ji", She took both hands in her hands and assured him.

"May Almighty keep you happy and prosperous", He said lovingly.

The rest of the day passed in a blur, the Malhan family was busy checking their outfits, keeping an eye on the decorations of the haveli and arrangements, the arrival of relatives, and enjoying family time.

Manisha and Abhishek were sitting on the stage together. Her Turquoise flowy maxi was spread on the floor whereas Abhishek was wearing a navy blue suit, complementing the overall white and baby pink floral decor of the reception. The best thing about the event was that Manisha and Afsa were twining which was Chachi's idea.
