After that, Markus spent a good 50 minutes crafting various weapons and tools using his Light Constructs. Leveling up both skills.

Light Construct(Lv.3)

Crafting(Lv. 5)

Holy Power leveled up, too.

Holy Power(Lv. 5)

Markus then spent another 30 minutes meditating to recover his energy from all that crafting.

Meditation(Lv.4)

They didn't level up as much as Markus thought they would.

[The XP needed to level up skills increases with each level!]

'Makes sense.'

Standing up, he looked at the sky to see the sun, once again, at the edge of the horizon. 'A whole day passes in 2 hours?'

[Warning! You have 10 minutes left in this dimension! Prepare for nightfall!]

'Oh?' He wondered how the time worked here, but he's beginning to understand.

[Nightfall shall commence in 3...]

[... 1! Happy hunting!]

As if a switch had been flipped, an eerie silence washed over the forest. Darkness enveloped the world. Only the moon, and Markus's wings, served to illuminate it.

And that continued for a few moments. Until a deep, grueling moan pierced that silence. A figure appeared in the corner of Markus's vision. It was a zombie, staggering its way towards him.

Markus wouldn't admit it, but it looked far more terrifying than he expected. Mostly because it wasn't made out of blocks.

'Light Construct.'

A spear of light manifested in his hand. With the help of the skill, creating Light Constructs became far easier than manipulating Holy Power. Or crafting, for that matter. Passive skills suck.

Unfortunately, he wasn't at the level of creating multiple tools yet. And trying to create them in the air didn't work as intended. They just fell or didn't form right.

So, for now, he took to throwing the weapons like a normal person. Except...

'1... 2...!'

The spear wasn't being thrown by a normal person.

The zombie, from the waist up, was obliterated.  Just like the trees behind it. The combination of a half Angel's strength and the power of light... shocked Markus.

'Is it because of the memory transfer?'

If it wasn't for this display, he wouldn't have noticed his increased physical strength. It felt normal to him. As if he had lived his whole life with it. Which he kind of has.

[Congratulations! You killed your first Zombie!]
