The girls turned toward the direction of the voice, eyes widening in shock at the sight before them. A short girl with a beautiful face and nature-inspired attire stood timidly, surrounded by animals. She fidgeted with her fingers, looking nervous under their gazes.
"The vines were hungry, and I forgot to bring them food, so these guys were about to be their meal..." she mumbled, casting an apologetic look at the Specialists still caught in the vines.
Flora, who had been staring at the girl in awe, snapped out of her trance and offered her a warm smile. "You look familiar..."
Stella tilted her head, scrutinizing the girl. "Yeah, I feel like I've seen you before."
"Who cares if she looks familiar? Why is she in the exam section?" Bloom asked, arms crossed in frustration. She wasn't about to admit it, but the girl's beauty unsettled her.
"Maybe she got lost?" Tecna suggested, analyzing the situation with a critical eye.
"H-Huh? N-No! This is my home, actually..." Y/N said, feeling embarrassed.
"Wait, you're not from Alfea?" Musa asked, surprised.
"She's not from here," Riven stated, moving protectively in front of the girl and pulling her behind him.
"How do you know? Is she working with the trolls?" Bloom asked, eyes narrowing in suspicion.
Timmy adjusted his glasses. "Well, the vines listen to her, and she's surrounded by animals like a mother watching over her children. It's pretty clear she's telling the truth."
Flora stepped forward with a reassuring smile. "Let's introduce ourselves properly, shall we? It's rude to leave our new friend feeling scared."
"She's not our friend!" Bloom huffed, rolling her eyes.
The Specialists all shot her a glare, especially after hearing Y/N let out a soft whimper.
"I'm Stella! And that grumpy girl over there is Bloom. By the way, your outfit is adorable! Where did you buy it?"
"O-Oh, I made it myself... I don't have any other clothes, but the animals helped me gather materials to create new ones..."
Stella squealed excitedly. "You and I are going to be best friends!"
"I'm Musa."
"I'm Tecna."
"My name is Flora. It's nice to meet you."
The three girls smiled kindly at Y/N, who turned red and instinctively hid behind Riven's back.
"I think we should all look for the troll together from now on. Safety in numbers and all," Bloom suggested, taking charge.
"Sounds good to me," Flora agreed.
"Me too," Sky nodded.
"No way I'm teaming up with these girls," Riven grumbled, crossing his arms.
Y/N hesitated before speaking. "I-I guess I could go with them then?"
Before she could move, Riven's hand gently gripped her arm. "Only you can team up with me."
Sky rolled his eyes and smirked. "You're on your own then, buddy. And if you find the troll, just give us a shout."

"We'll have to hop our way across," Tecna analyzed the terrain ahead.
"Be careful, Tecna!" Y/N called out, concerned.
Tecna nodded. "Thanks."
She jumped first, landing safely on a rock. One by one, the rest followed, leaping across the floating platforms. Y/N lost her footing slightly, but Sky caught her just in time.
"Careful, princess," he said, steadying her.
She blushed but nodded in gratitude.
Everyone made it across, except for Riven, who miscalculated his jump. He slipped, barely managing to grab onto the ledge.
"No!" Brandon yelled.
Before anyone else could react, Y/N lunged forward, grabbing Riven's hand with both of hers, trying to pull him up. "Hold on!"
"Don't let go of me!" Riven barked, gripping her tightly.
"She's slipping!" Stella warned as she noticed Y/N's feet sliding against the unstable surface.
Timmy quickly moved behind her, wrapping an arm around her waist to provide support. The others rushed in to help, pulling them both up together.
After a moment of struggle, they finally managed to get Riven back onto solid ground.
Stella smirked. "Bet you're glad you teamed up with us girls now, aren't you, Riven?"
Riven rolled his eyes but turned to Y/N. Without hesitation, he took her hand and pressed a small kiss to the back of it. "Thank you, princess, for saving me."
Y/N's face turned bright red, completely unused to physical affection. She quickly pulled her hand back, flustered, making Riven chuckle.

Everyone immediately tensed up, their eyes darting in the direction of the noise.
"That didn't sound good..." Musa muttered.
"What now?" Brandon sighed, drawing his weapon.
Y/N instinctively grabbed onto Riven's sleeve, fear evident in her eyes. He gave her a quick glance before smirking confidently.
"Don't worry, little princess. I'll keep you safe."
