Saying that Cecilia woke up in a hospital utterly confused would be an understatement.

She had no idea what she was doing there dressed in a hospital's pyjamas or whatever it was.

It was not until the very moment that the doctor and a nurse came into her room to explain what happened.

They found some substances in her blood test that made them believe that someone must have drugged her drink.

The memory of her encounter with the creepy guy at the bar immediately flashes before her eyes.

He must have been the one who drugged her drink. Most likely when she was taking out her wallet from her purse to pay for them.

She mentally facepalmed herself for being so stupid. She knew it wasn't her fault but it would've been her fault if Marc had taken the drugged drink.

At least it wasn't Marc, she repeated to herself.

There was no point in lying that this experience scared the shit out of her. All the possible scenarios that might have happened if she wasn't there with her friends.

"We will discharge you this afternoon, is there someone you'd like us to call to?" The nurse asked me kindly and I dictated her a number to none other than Marc.

She knew she could rely on him to drive her back to the hotel and even though she was supposed to fly home on Wednesday she would probably take the soonest flight available.

Meanwhile, Cecilia was incredibly bored in her hospital room Marc was in the hotel desperately waiting for a call from the hospital that he soon got.

He was also relieved to know that she was okay, he had no idea what he would do if something happened to Cece.

At this point, both of them were just counting down the hours and minutes until Cecil would be finally discharged.

"Never ever do this to me again," Marc tells her as soon as he walks into her hospital room immediately making his way towards her and pulling her into a long-needed hug.

"I will explain everything in the car," she chuckled happy to see her best friend and ready to put this whole party situation behind her.

"Do you have my stuff?" She breaks the hug and Marc hands her a bag with fresh clothes that he took from her hotel room.

"I also charged your phone since it was dead," he took out Cece's phone from his back pocket and passed it to her as well.
