"You look gorgeous mi amor," Carlos greets Cecil with a kiss on each cheek as soon as they meet in the restaurant.

Marc had to physically hold himself from storming out of the restaurant causing a scene because he was furious. Mi amor? Is he fucking serious? He kept repeating in his head.

He masked his feelings with a friendly smile greeting everyone happily.

In the meantime, Carlos put his hand on Cece's lower back leading her to a chair that was next to his pulling out the chair for her.

Marc couldn't believe what was displayed in front of his eyes. He was supposed to do this. This was his job, taking care of his Cecil.

He didn't know what to do. Throwing a tantrum would be ridiculous and he had no right to be jealous or possessive, so he kept silent sitting on the chair opposite to Cecilia.

A waiter arrived shortly handing everyone a menu and distracting Marc for at least a little moment keeping his mind off the fact that Carlos was quite obviously flirting with Cecilia.

When they all picked their food they started talking. Cecilia was enjoying the dinner a lot, laughing with Carlos at the old stories he mentioned that happened to them. She remembered each and every one of them.

Marc didn't really talk to Cecilia in fact he didn't talk to her at all which was a bit strange. Not just to Cecil but also to others.

It was usually Marc and Cecil constantly talking to each other there wasn't a conversation with Marc without Cece nor one with Cece without Marc.

They were a package. Inseparable.

The dinner flew by quickly, well, at least for Cecilia, Marc checked his phone every few moments counting down the minutes until the, for him unbearable dinner be over.

"Would you like me to drive you back to the hotel?" Carlos asked Cecilia as she hugged Charles and the others goodbye.

For Marc, this was the final dot. "I'm driving her," he replied for Cece leaving no space for any kind of negotiation.

The girl was left confused by her best friend's weird mood swings. She couldn't understand what might have caused this just earlier today everything was fun and they were enjoying the race like always.

Carlos didn't pressure it and just hugged Cecilia goodbye promising to call later.

"Okay, we can go," The Spanish girl smiled at the racer and he started walking towards the exit of the restaurant not even bothering to smile back, kind of killing Cecil's positive and happy mood.
