Krishn continues the story, "The tale of Vamana Avatar begins when the demon king Bali, advised by his guru Shukracharya, performs numerous yagnas and conquers the realms of Devraj Indra.
Witnessing Bali's growing power and glory, his wife's heart swells with greed. She urges him to seek something greater: the throne of Swargalok, ruling over the gods themselves.
Tempted by the prospect of even greater glory, King Bali decides to perform a grand yagna. Meanwhile, the gods, fearing for their celestial kingdom, seek help from Narayan.
However, Narayan refrains from intervening, stating that Bali's achievements are the result of his own actions. After the gods depart with disappointment, Narayan remarks to Devi Lakshmi that it's amusing how the gods disturb the almighty as himself for such trivial matters. Lakshmi, disapproving of Narayan's pride, reminds him, 'Such egoistic words don't befit you, Arya.'
Narayan, smiling, responds, 'I'm proud of you, priye. I want the world to know that meri Patni, Lakshmi, would stop even me if I ever strayed from the righteous path, unlike Bali's wife. You possess no impurities, Lakshmi, which is why you never allow any impurity near me.'
Smiling back, Lakshmi remarks, 'I suppose you should go take care of Bali,' to which Narayan nods.
Lord Vishnu then incarnates as Vamana, a dwarf, disguising himself as a Brahman, and arrives at the site of the yagna being performed by Shukracharya and King Bali.
Bali asks the young Brahmin what he desires. Vamana praises Bali's generosity and requests only the amount of land that can be covered in three steps.
The audience is stunned by the seemingly trivial request. The demons laugh at the boy's audacity. Nevertheless, King Bali agrees to grant the request.
As Vamana takes his first step, he grows in size until he encompasses the entire earth. With his second step, he covers the heavens, blocking access to Swargalok. Turning to Bali, he asks where he should place his third step.
True to his word, Bali offers his own head for Vamana's final step. At this moment, Lord Vishnu reveals his true form, blessing Bali and allowing him to rule Patal Lok.

Thus, Bali relinquishes his claim to Swargalok, and Indra and the other gods retain their celestial abode, all thanks to Lord Vishnu's Vamana Avatar."
After finishing the story, Radha smiles with delight. Krishn adds, "Did you grasp the moral of all the stories, Radha?"
Radha nods, saying, "I think I did."
"Good," replies Krishn, "I believe it will help you find the courage to protect me."
"Why would you need my protection?" asks Radha, confused.
Before Krishn can respond, an angry voice interrupts, "Krishn!" Krishn follows the voice, with a worried Radha trailing behind him. Sensing Radha's presence, Krishn leads her to Shukracharya, who is the one calling for Krishn.
