Jean had woken up and somehow got a set of fancy black armor. He had an orange sword and a mini crossbow, stuff that he didn't have when he was unconscious. He also looked more empty, when we had fought at the tavern he had a sort of excitement in his eyes. But now it's gone it's been replaced by a sort of sad emptiness. After he woke we began to travel down the road until we reached a nearby city. Previously it appeared as though Jean was hiding behind Kyros but now he stood straight and confidently. We reached a city and we went to a nearby tavern and rented rooms. I had fallen asleep early and woke up early. After an hour or two we all went out to explore and we walked into a shop and began to look around, two men walked into the store and pulled out small makeshift crossbows. They shot a bolt at the shop keeper striking him in the shoulder. I pulled out my sword and rushed towards the men, one tried to hit me with the end of the crossbow but I dodged and kicked him in the chest. He got shoved through the window and landed outside. I hopped out the window and slowly started to walk towards him, he got up off the ground and rushed towards me with a dagger. I dodged and sliced his back, ripping his shirt and leaving a big cut on his back. He was bleeding but didn't seem to care. He ran at me once more but I kicked him in the chest and he fell over and landed on the ground with a loud "THUMP". He stood back up and swung his dagger in an attempt to cut me. I dodged and got behind him. I noticed that his back no longer had a cut, almost like it had healed. There was no scarring either, like he had never been cut. I thrusted my sword right where his heart should be and it pierced his skin. He acted like nothing had happened and swung his blade at me again. He had a hole in his chest and it appeared to be slowly healing back. He started to swing when a loud boom came from the shop. Large blasts of light and fire shot out from the windows, lighting the shop on fire. The blasts were continuing with almost no pauses. It seems that the other robber was also healing. By this point the man I was fighting had his shirt ripped up so he took it off. He wore a necklace shaped like a thunderbolt. The necklace was made out of a blue metal, one that I'd never seen before. He ran at me once more and tried to slash me. I dodged again and slashed at his face. I left a large cut on his face that dripped blood. I thrusted my sword into his skull and he collapsed. I turned around to go help the other two when a dagger flew past my head. I turned around and the man was standing with no marks or cuts. His necklace glowed an even brighter blue. I got an idea, so I ran at him and reached for his necklace. I grabbed the thunder symbol and pulled the necklace off his neck. I kicked his leg causing him to kneel over when I thrusted my sword into his neck. He dropped to the ground but this time he didn't heal, he didn't stand back up. I ran towards the shop to help the other two and I kicked open the door. Jean and Kyros were both slicing the other robber. They were dodging and rushing towards him, they were so fast I could barely see them. Kyros left a blue trail behind him and Jean left a bright flame trail behind him. They continued to slice and cut this man who had no chance to attack. But he kept healing the damage he was dealt. I rushed towards the man and threw him to the ground. Jean and Kyros stared at me and watched as I ripped his shirt off. They both looked at the bright blue necklace, but Kyros looked shocked. I reached for the necklace and pulled it off the man. "This necklace was healing him. You can kill him now." I said. Jean began to slowly walk towards me with his sword out. He lifted his arm up and swung at the robber. "CLINK!!!" It sounded like two blades colliding and I saw that Kyros had blocked Jean's attack. "What are you doing." Jean looked at Kyros with his dead empty orange eyes. "We can't kill this man, he's a follower of Throlik. Just like me. It's against our beliefs to kill another Throlik follower." Kyros said like he was pleading for Jean to spare this man. "I don't care. He's dying." Jean lifted his sword up again but Kyros grabbed his arm and pushed him back. Jean stared at Kyros and walked towards him. They were mere centimeters away from each other and they were staring at each other with anger. Jean pushed Kyros back and swung his sword at the robber, slicing his throat. "NOOOO!!" Kyros yelled and bright and blue flashes came from his hands. He rushed towards Jean and tackled him. They were on the ground and Kyros had his hands on Jean's neck. Jean's hand glowed with a bright orange heat and he punched Kyros in the gut causing him to flinch in pain. Jean's hand burst in flames and started punching Kyros. Kyros was being pushed back, unable to stop the barrage of punches from Jean. Kyros had blood pouring out of his nose and was obviously in pain. He had burn marks on his face from the fire on Jean's fist. Kyros pushed Jean backwards and thrusted out his palm. Jean did the same and they were just staring at each other. "Let's stop this before you get hurt anymore." Jean said and it looked like Kyros agreed since they lowered their arms and began to walk towards me. We walked out of the shop and saw something surprising. There were almost a dozen people standing outside in blue robes. They all had one of the blue thunderbolt necklaces. The biggest one walked forward and yelled "Kyros, we request you and your....... friends follow us to the church." Kyros walked forward and I followed but Jean looked hesitant. I don't blame him. We arrived at a large church, it was a big brick building with a large T over the door. We walked into the building Kyros in lead. Once inside it was very similar to a christian church but instead of christian pictures there were pictures of stories that involved Throlik. The biggest picture showed a knight with bright blue armor on the ground with a blade on fire piercing his chest. There was a man floating above the dead knight, he had a bright orange halo above his head and bright orange wings made of fire. It would appear that it resembles the death of Throlik. The legend states that Throlik and the god of fire "Jean" met in a desert with sand as red as blood. They would fight for the last time after having been at war for several years, and the victor was Jean after he stabbed Throlik in the heart. The stories are quite fascinating but they're also confusing. Most were written in an ancient text that we are unable to read. The same text on Kyros's armor. We were directed to two separate rooms. Me and Kyros were led to a room and Jean was led to another. Several robed people followed Jean into the room and they appeared to be holding daggers. What appeared to be the leader walked towards us. "Welcome, we are always glad to have new visitors. We have prepared separate rooms for you two and you will both also be treated to drinks and food whenever required." I stared at him and said, "What about Jean?" The man's face turned serious and dark. "The deity you call "Jean" will be executed in two hours. We will not be required to give them a room as they will not be alive for the need to rest." I stared at him in shock. I looked back toward Kyros and he had a blank expression on his face. "We are leaving." I went to leave but Kyros grabbed my arm. He looked at me "No, it's for the better." I looked at him in anger and pushed him away from me. "HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT!!" I yelled and yelled. Jean was our friend and Kyros was just fine with letting him be executed. Kyros reached for my arm to stop me from leaving but I sliced his hand with one of my hidden blades. The robed man pulled out a blade and tried to slice me. I blocked it and knocked the blade out of his hand. I pushed open the door and began to walk toward Jean's room. I kicked it open and was immediately met with a blade slicing my cheek. I backed away and pulled out my sword. A man in a robe came out and tried to stab me. I dodged his blade and pulled off his necklace. He looked shocked that I knew about the necklace but that didn't last long since I shoved my blade into his throat. I walked into the room and saw at least five different robed people holding out daggers. Jean was behind them with cuts on his face and body. "Took you long enough. Where's Kyros?" "Kyros isn't coming. He was going to let you die." Jean looked shocked but also hurt. "I don't believe you." I looked at him and shrugged. Another man ran at me but I dodged his attack and punched him in the gut. Several more ran at me and Jean, it looked like Jean was holding his own just fine. Occasionally Jean would shoot a blast of fire at a robed man killing them instantly. The men sliced at us and kept trying but we would always dodge and counter attack. After all of the men were dead we walked into the hall and began to leave. "Stop!" We turned around and Kyros was standing with the leader. "We can't let that thing live!" the leader yelled while pointing at Jean. "I'm not a thing." Jean said, now holding his sword even tighter. The leader took off his necklace and pulled something off of it. He held it up to his mouth and the necklace began to empty. It looked like his was special. It was a liquid that he was now drinking. After he drank it all his body erupted in blue sparks and light. "This is only a fraction of Throlik's power!!" He ran towards me and Jean, I tried to block him but he shot a blast of lightning and blasted me back. I was thrown into the wall and left a mark from the impact. Jean was thrown back too but looked a little less hurt. Jean stood up and rushed towards the man, Jean had lit his sword on fire and was swinging at the man. He would hit the man but he would regenerate before any serious damage was done. Jean got shot in the face with the lightning bolt sending him backwards. His head hit the wall first and he looked uneasy and dizzy. The man ran towards him and thrusted a dagger into his chest before picking him up and slamming him into a large chunk of stone that had fallen from the roof. Jean was now on the floor and it didn't look like he would be getting up anytime soon. I ran towards the man and thrusted my sword into his gut. He turned to look at me and punched me, I fell to the floor and looked over at Kyros. He was just staring at me.
