Helena rolled her eyes as Ms Woodsy yelled at Ant and Spider, the boys using the doorframe to swing into the class. Everyone was gathered in the classroom and she noticed an unfamiliar face sitting in front of her.
"Oi, new kid" Laney leaned forward tapping his shoulder, he turned to face her and awkwardly smiled, "What're you doing in here?" she asked, leaning her chin on her palm, raising a brow.
"Uh, i'm not really sure" He shrugged, rubbing the back of his neck. "Malakai" he said, holding out his hand.
Helena looked at him weirdly, "Helena, but call me Laney" she finally smiled, "put your hand back down before it gets awkward" Malakai awkwardly laughed as he dropped his hand. Everyone fell silent as Miss Obah walked in front of them, Malakai quickly turned around to face the front again.
"Hi everyone. I'm Miss Josephine Obah, but you can call me Jojo, kind of like, "Yo-yo," but J" Ms Obah awkwardly laughed as everyone stared at her blankly. "I'm an English teacher, so I know some of you, but I'm sure you're all wondering why you're here"
"This is awkward" Laney groaned quietly, leaning her head onto Darren's shoulder.
"Well, your names were on the map in the stairwell. Look, peeps, we're not dumb, we know a lot of you are sexually active, but we're concerned this map demonstrates a real lack of respect for one another when it comes to sexual relationships" Miss Obah gestured around the room, causing Laney to close her eyes bored of this already.
"So we want to address it head-on, this is a special class that aims to give you clear and accessible information about sex and intimacy...A sexual literacy tutorial" Miss finished with a proud smirk.
This peaked Laneys interest as she reopened her eyes, sitting up straighter now. "SLT? So we're Sluts?" She questioned out loud making the class erupt in laughter but she wasn't that amused by it.
"Sluts! Sluts! Sluts!" Spider began to chant with the majority joining in, he stood up alongside Ant as they thrusted their hips in the air.
"Gross" Darren mumbled as they watched the two boys, quickly noticing how Laney stared a little too much at Spider. "Are you drooling?" They snapped in the girls face.
"What? Ew, no!" She shook her head rapidly, looking away.
"That's enough. Come on, everyone" Obah raised her voice slightly, holding her hands up defensively. "This class will go back to the basics on sex and... because clearly, you all have a lot to learn in that department. It'll happen twice a week, in your own time" She concluded with a smile.
