Ava POV

I woke up the morning of the event and got dressed in the outfit I had bought yesterday. It was a plain white t shirt with rolled sleeves and vintage high waisted shorts. I wore black converse high tops with it. Simple outfit, but it was extremely cute and I loved it.
After Lucy and I both got ready, we took a cab to the Navy Pier. We got out and started heading towards the line. After waiting in line for two hours, they finally opened the doors and all of the rans rushed in.
The show started, and Lucy and I were towards the front, on the right side. It was an enjoyable show, lots of singers sang covers and original songs. They played lots of games and told jokes and it was a fun show to watch. Some guy called Rick Tompleson or something came onto the stage and said there was a special guest for the show.
"oo!!!! I wonder who it is!!" Lucy said to me.
The guy on stage said the name, but I couldn't hear it because the people around us were screaming so loudly. But when I saw who walked on the stage, I froze. Lucas Thomas Korns walked onto the stage.

I felt Lucy look over at me. I couldn't think straight my mind was going through insane. I saw look scanning the crowd and I tried to hide my face. But his eyes locked with mine and we both didn't know what to do. After he got off the stage I ran to the bathroom. I sat in the stall trying to contemplate how this could be happening.
I walked out of the bathroom and took a deep breath. I headed over to the concession stand and bought myself a hotdog.
I sat down on a bench while snacking on the hot dog and watching all the fans talking in their groups of friends.
I saw Lucy run over to me, "There you are! Where have you been? I called you a million times! Why'd you run off at the end of the show like that?"
I sighed, "sorry, Luce. I was--"
"Ava!" I turned to look at whoever called my name.
There I saw Luke fighting tons of fans, trying to get past them and get to me.
"Go go go go," I yelled to Ava and we ran to the front entrance.
We ran all the way there and stopped at the end and took a break. We were both out of breath. "You know you can't hide from him forever." She said.
I was about to respond when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around s only to become face to face with Luke.
"Told you," I heard Lucy mutter behind me.
"We need to talk," Luke said to me.
I looked back at Lucy and tol her I would meet her at the hotel later. She nodded and walked off.
I followed Luke back to his car, and we both got in.
The beginning of the car ride was silent and extremly akward. I had no idea where he was taking me.
Luke pulled over on the side of the road. We sat for a moment in silence before he turned and faced me.
"Look. I still don't know if I made the right choice. But you need to know that I still think of you everyday. I loved you so, so much, Ava. You were my entire world. Let me tell you, that decision I had to make was the hardest in my entire life. If I had to make it today, I don't know what I would have chosen. I still miss you, Ava. I do. Everyday memories of what we once had come back and haunt me. It kills me to know that what we once had is forever gone and we won't have it again. But I guess what I'm trying to say is that I still love you."
