A lot has changed sense Akemi was five years old. Her older brother, Toya was now dead. Her mother was in a hospital. And Akemi was now known as a crazy girl who's lost her mind.

Her mother was sent to a hospital after she had given both Akemi and Todoroki a burn scar. It really pained Akemi to see my family fall apart. She hated every second of it. She hated knowing that it was her fathers doing. She hated knowing that she would never see Toya again. She hated seeing her family brake.

After Toya's death, Akemi was also sent to the same hospital as her mother, she was currently staying there. Shoto often visited her as well, although he stopped coming due to him living in dorms but he would call regularly.

Endeavor had thought that the hospital would help her in her crazy state. Although, the hospital didn't help. She was still labeled as a crazy girl by Endeavor, he didn't even visit her.

She was still the same broken girl with the same mental illness that her father despised so much. He called her a useless failure and she believed him. She believed every word that came out of his mouth. Every insult. She had grown to except that that was who she was. A useless failure. A broken tool.

There are two sayings that says: "You can't change the past" and "you can't fix a broken person". That was Akemi. Broken. Her whole life was shattered into a million little pieces that couldn't be glued back together. She was like a broken doll that couldn't be put back together.

She was her fathers broken tool and she hated every last bit of it.

Akemi was watching the sky out of the only window in her small room. It was a peaceful day. . .well that's what any normal person would say. But to her, it was another day stuck in the small and tiny room. She felt like she was in a birdcage.

She also kept eyeing four small white bottles that were right next to her. It was her medication. She was supposed to take four different types of medication for some odd reason. She didn't want to take it but she had to.

Her family didn't know about this though, only Endeavor knew about it. Todoroki would probably be against it if he did find out. Speaking of Shoto, I wonder how he's doing, Akemi thought.

Suddenly, Akemi's room door opened. Akemi turned around, her eyes widened. Her father, Endeavor was here. But why? Why would he come to see her after all these years of ignoring her?

"What do you want?" Akemi asked in a rather harsh tone of voice, turning around to face the window again.

"I heard that discharged today. I came to pick you up," He said.

"Why?"

"Because you're coming with me to watch Shoto. He failed his provisional hero licensing and has to take supplementary classes." Akemi's eyes widened. I get to see Shoto? Can I really see him again?

"Fine. I'll go pack up my things," Akemi said, getting up from her chair and getting ready.

"Good." Endeavor left the room, leaving Akemi to get changed and to pack her things.
