Smoke as red as the blood that covered the corpses clouded the air. Gunshots, and screeches followed by thuds, bodies piling on both sides. It could hardly be called a fight, it was a slaughter; and amid the chaos, two girls are wandering. One of them, singing with a lowly voice

"Our homes are built of stone"

The soft voice is followed by what seems odd in a setting of carnage, distraught, and misery; however, it is clear that the sound of giggling is traveling through the air. Although, quiet enough to be heard only by the one emitting the noise

"So come across the river"

The giggling became more aggressive, raspy, and dry, disturbing where the sound of a dying crow would be considered music to the ears. Nevertheless, the sound was still silent enough to be undetected by others

"And find-"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" The sharp sound of laughter cut through the air, drowning out any noises of battle or terror, causing the two girls to become startled, jumping back an inch in shock

The smallest of the pair removed her hand from her eyes to view the source of the new sound, and she found it to be a boy roughly her age emitting the chilling noise

Tears trickled down his face as he emitted a high-pitched cackle, his hands resting on two lifeless bodies in front of him while the sleeve of his shirt soaked in the blood

"HAHAHAHA-" He covers his mouth with his blood-filled hands, causing some of the red substance to splatter on his face. He desperately attempts to stop his laughing, even choking on his own breath, but to no avail
