Maybe One Day

CHAPTER ONE

Amidst the summer between April and May; David, a 22-year-old boy who majors in business, along with other people, was informed to come to a work interview at a nearby company as a secretary. For him, it was a boring, sunny day. He already knows that he would get accepted because of his charming looks, high quality performance, and his overflowing confidence.

He picked up his best clothing, a brand-new pair of shoes, and a shiny watch. He basically dragged himself downstairs. David ate his breakfast quickly and ran towards the front door. On his way to the door, he stumbled across a mirror. He took a glance of himself at the mirror to check if everything was okay. Towards the door, he sprinted out.

He only walked to the company since it's just a block away from his house. He went inside and he can already see people gathered up and waiting for the application.

"Woah, seems like I'm not the only one wanting that position" David said to himself while he giggled.

David approached them, looks at them and found himself a seat. He was observing each people present. He looked at every person's face. Then, he stumbled across a face he will never forget.

Pointy nose, red rosy lips, and a smooth-silky face; he even wears glasses that's supposed to make you look like a nerd. But those glasses, looks so hot on him. He was the 'bae'. He was sitting at a chair near the interviewer's door, scrolling through his phone.

"Oh shit." David said to himself.

His brain can't even describe how gorgeous this man is. However, his brain went drooling over this man. David started walking towards him like he was being lured to him, suddenly, a lady popped out of nowhere.

"'Good morning people, the interviewer is here. Please be ready in a minute." The lady said to them.

He hastily went back to his seat. Taking a few seconds to comprehend why he almost walked towards that man, he was left paralyzed in his chair, with that gorgeous beauty. Luckily, his soul went back to Earth that made him working completely fine again.

"Sir Edward Revford, please follow me inside." The lady said with a soft calming voice. He went inside while smiling at the lady.

"Edward, huh. Edward Revford, got it" He said to himself a little too loud that the person sitting next to him gave him the 'side eye'.

A few moments passed by, there was Edward leaving the door, a smile on his face, and still, that gorgeous fucking face. He walked past each person while keeping that smile painted on him. Then, he went sprinting towards the revolving door.

His heart was about to explode at that moment. He could've died there. Then, he was called by the lady.

"David Chua, please come inside." The lady said with such enthusiasm.

"This bitch, what a great party-pooper" His brain exclaimed this while he walked towards the lady. In order to keep the formality, and to avoid being fired before he was even hired, he painted a bright face.

That moment earlier that caused him such a reckon, turned into a motivation. He felt more energized and wide-awake. Because of that he successfully made it out the interview.

"Well, that was easy!" He exclaimed.

He sprinted towards the revolving door. Feeling so fresh and motivated. He was looking at the sky outside, breathing fresh carbon air as the vehicles moves in front of him.

"Oh yeah, fuck this city life, full of stupid vehicles". Still inhaling that gas.

He walked towards the pedestrian lane, walked to his apartment complex, took the elevator, then went sprinting to his apartment. He felt the instant comfort in his own home.

He jumped on his couch and laid down. He was already planning the things he would do when he's accepted. Then, Edward's face came crossing again. He was annoyed, but also flustered. He was curious and want to know more about this Edward thing.

David pulled out his laptop and phone, opened any possible social media websites that exists, and starts searching the name 'Edward Revford'. He was basically the FBI when he pulled his account from Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

He began scrolling through Edward's Instagram through his phone.

"Damn, he even looks so good in these pics" David said. Then, the disaster came... David accidentally liked one of Edward's photos without him realizing. He wrapped up the search and hunt mission and went to sleep.

Edward on the other hand. Saw the notification on his notification bar.

Edward was confused, trying to figure out who's this man and why is he liking his photos. Then, he suddenly remembered.
