The next day Luffy was ready to go yet he didn't want to leave law yet but he had no choice, he had already promised law that he would return and so he will come back to law.
Law didn't had an exam that day so he couldn't go see Luffy as he left. Luffy understood and didn't think much of it as there long road trip back to water 7 has started
The whole trip Luffy was so quiet staring outside the window, which made a strawhats a bit worried about him
Nami whispers to Franky who was driving "Franky why is Luffy so quiet?"
Franky whispered back to nami "i don't know, he seems like he doesn't want to leave"
After a while of driving they stopped due to the tense and sad atmosphere to cheer up Luffy
Robin: hey Luffy wanna go buy something to eat with me?
Luffy did even look at Robin and just denied the request "no thanks just buy anything you like"
Nami got a bit mad and confused as she told Luffy to just go with her and he agreed since it was nami

As robin and Luffy left
Nami: does anyone know what happened?
Usopp: on the last night when I woke up Luffy wasn't in the room
Franky: I did hear talking that night too
Nami: can you explain the voices Franky?
Franky: I'm not sure but on was a deep sleepy voice
Nami: deep sleepy?
Sanji: law has a voice like that
Zoro: yeah yeah that idiot's voice is deeper than the sea
Nami laughed and said "maybe law and luffy finally talked things out"
Everyone nodded and decided to finish there mission and bring Luffy back to law

Luffy comes back with a huge bag of meat and snacks as nami say screamed on the inside regretting giving the wallet to Luffy but at least Luffy was smiling now
Luffy: "these are all mine" he says as he raised the bag full of meat before handing the snacks to nami "this is for you guys"
Everyone sighed not impressed by how Luffy gets selfish when It comes to food
After eating they set out to there trip again, Luffy was playing with usopp and chopper forgetting how he was just sad 5 minutes ago
********** (Law)
After the test he was sitting on his chair leaning back as his mind was a mess, he knew how innocent Luffy was and that he really couldn't do anything last night as he fell asleep so quickly. Law just sighed and tried to erase all the thoughts about it and went back to studying since he had nothing else to do.
That was until a knock was heard from the door, he groaned in annoyance before the door to see penguin standing there with a grin
Law: what do you want, penguin-ya
Penguin: Luffy left you a gift
Law raised an eyebrow in curiosity and took the box from penguin and before he could say anything ge slams the door at his face.
With tge gift box he sat down, it was very adorable how Luffy wrapped it and decorated it, ge puts so much effort into and its adorable The box....

He smiled slightly at the box and before opening it to reveal an adorable picture they took together on their first date and a note next to it which says "Torao, I know you have your problems and i understand but lets hope we can start again once we meet, i promise to call you every night before sleeping -LUFFY"
