It's about maybe 7 o'clock. Me, Kai, and Agent are on the couch, minding our own business. I got replies from both Hailey and Dezire. Both said yes, but Dezire wants to bring her so called man. That girl has been so inbetween about her man, sometimes I think they're not even a thing.
"So Duke and Chris are gonna be grilling, like burgers and sausages." Agent says, breaking the silence.
"Mhm." Kai replies, not paying attention at all.
"So do we need to bring anything? Like drinks or something?" I ask. I never like to come empty handed to parties.
"I mean you can, it's not necessary." Agent replies.
After that it goes back to silence. I scroll on my phone, finding something to do.

An hour or so passes, and I get bored of sitting in the same place. I sit up and grab my keys.
"I'm gonna go get some drinks." I say, looking at them.
"Alright bae, how much you need?" Kai asks, his attention coming up from his phone.
Kai was always considering me. That's what I like about him. "Nothing Kai, I have money."
I knew that wasn't going to do anything, he had access to see my spending receipts on my card, he'd send it anyway.

I walk into the nearest drugstore, grabbing a couple 24 pack of drinks. "That should do." I say to myself.
I bring my things up to cashier.
"ID?" I hear the familiar saying.
I provide it and pay, and walk out. I unlock the car, loading up the drinks in my backseat. I get in, arriving at the house at 8:58.
I knock on the door, barely being able to hold all the drinks by how long I was waiting.
"Bae why you'ain let me help you?" I hear Kai as he quickly grabs the drinks.
"You could've if you would come to the door sooner!" I reply back.
"You didn't even knock!"
"Oh."
We walk in, him setting the drinks down. "I'm gonna go get ready." I tell Kai, waving to the rest of the group on the couch.
I walk upstairs, getting my outfit I packed; a swimsuit. Me and the girls are wearing our matching sets that Dez made.

"KAIIII!" I yell, to get his attention. I wanna see if this outfit is approved.
I hear steps coming up the stairs. "What's up?" He says while opening the door. I go up to hug him. He sets his head on my shoulder, looking down at my outfit. "You're beautiful ma."
I cover my face, trying not to blush. "Let me get ready baby then I'll go out to the pool with you."
I nod him a yes and go to the bathroom to remove my makeup. I only had some lip liner on, but I didn't want it to smudge, especially if I thought about going in the pool. I took my makeup remover wipes and gently patted at it as I watched it disappear into the wipe. I did my skincare routine, leaving my skin glowing. "You done yet baby?" I ask Kai, waiting to go out.
"Yes ma'am." I open the door to see my fine man wearing some sunglasses, showcasing his tattoos, and some teal-blue trunks. "You like it?" He asks.
"I love it. We look so cute together." I tell him. He pulls me in for a hug, putting his lips on mine. "They should be ready by now." He tells me, grabbing my hand to lead it out his room.
