~A week later~
It's been a week here at this new school, and so far, I've made a few friends, though I'm not a big fan of the idea. They're just classmates.
Somehow, I've been included in this little group. It's been an odd experience, but whatever passes the time. Anyway, last week, nothing else interesting happened at school. On a positive note, I've gotten pretty used to my new house.
Recently, I found out that Irene had been hanging out with me less because of that Madeline girl. I'm not surprised. That girl is a total brat, and she sucks. This week?
Also, nothing interesting. I mean, I'll give this week a chance, it is only Tuesday. I do wonder about this Madeline girl though, she's so rude to everyone, and for what? Ugh, who am I kidding? She's just after that feeling of control. Of course, they're all like that. I haven't talked to her since our last conversation, like she's avoiding me already, but hey, I'm always open to early insights of who to trust. I mean-
"Stella!"
I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts by a voice, I turn around to see one of the people who were in this 'friend group', I still don't think of them as friends but, whatever.
"Oh, hi Casey."
Casey walks over, her curly brown hair bouncing as she walks over, I watch her approach, not caring too much for the 'friendly' aspect of things.
"I've been looking for you! Come on, you need to eat your lunch!"
Her blue eyes look kind of concerned as she grabs my arm and drags me along, I can't be bothered to put up a fight and just let her take me anywhere.

We make it over to the round table in the corner of the cafeteria where they always sat, Eli (or Elijah) who was practically the definition of a dumb blonde (no offence), was holding a book upside-down, presumably using his phone behind it.
Next to him sat Peter, a brown haired bookworm. He was trying his best not to laugh at Eli having his book the wrong way round whilst eating lunch. He also had his own book, the right way up due to him actually reading it.
Casey took a seat next to Eli, and I sat next to her. There was one spot empty between me and Peter, where Irene would sit when she showed up. Irene was always so busy with Madeline. I could feel my anger boiling towards a girl I've only met once, I couldn't imagine what kind of things she-
"Hey, Stella, you there?"
"Hm?" I blinked and looked up at who had spoken. It was Peter. Shoot, I zoned out again..
"Are you alright, we were calling you for the past minut-" Casey starts, only to be interrupted by a panicked Eli.
"OH MY GOD! Did you get possessed?!" He leaned closer, trying to examine my face for any signs of demons, this is kind of why I wasn't a fan of hanging out with them. They were all a little odd. But again, am I really classing myself as normal? Compared to these three, yes, compared to everyone else? No.
"No, obviously, how small is your brain? Do you even use it?!" I snapped, I wasn't in the mood to deal with all this.
Eli paused and then slowly sat back down in his chair, picking up his book and going on his phone behind it. Casey turned to me and whispered,
"You okay? I've never seen you so upset by Eli."
I look at her now.
"I'm just in a bad mood today. He'll get over it." I mutter back, taking a look over at a pouting Eli, who had Peter comforting him.
