Mingyu

I was overjoyed the day Wonwoo accepted me as his boyfriend. I couldn't sleep all night, eagerly anticipating seeing him at the office the next day. We had to be discreet about our relationship at work for our safety. Stealing quick glances was the best I could do.

Leaving the office provided a much-needed reprieve, and I relished the privacy we had once we were alone. Even now, Wonwoo's scent lingered in my car as I drove him home. It was always the hardest part of the day, but I looked forward to spending the weekend together.

I returned home to find the lights on, indicating my friends Seokmin and Minghao were already there for our Friday night drinks. As I entered, their friendly banter filled the air.

"Yahhh, you're cheating!" Seokmin accused.

"Gosh, just accept your defeat," Minghao replied, visibly annoyed.

"Y'all are so fucking loud," I interrupted, drawing their attention.

"Gyuuuuu!" Seokmin exclaimed, pulling me onto the sofa. I loosened my tie and unbuttoned my collar, grateful for the chance to unwind.

Seokmin returned from the kitchen with a bottle of soju, which I wasted no time in finishing, eager to escape the stress of the week.

"Woah, woah, dude, slow down," Minghao warned, his eyes glued to the TV, where a game was playing.

"You reek of tiredness," Seokmin chuckled.

"I am actually tired and really nervous," I admitted, reaching for a slice of pizza on the table.

Seokmin quickly slapped my hand. "Wash your hands first," he scolded.

Minghao took the initiative and fed me the pizza, his usual cold demeanor softening. "Eat up," he said.

"Aw, I love you~" I replied, causing Minghao to groan in feigned disgust, though I knew he secretly enjoyed the affection.

Feeling a surge of energy, I decided to take a shower and join my friends again, eager to spend the evening in their company and forget the stresses of the week.

After my quick shower, I returned to the living room, feeling refreshed but also a bit nervous about the weekend plans Wonwoo and I had made. Seokmin and Minghao, of course, already knew about our relationship.

"Look who's back!" Seokmin exclaimed, patting the spot next to him on the couch. I plopped down, taking a sip from the fresh glass of hot mulled wine he had poured for me.

Minghao glanced over, a subtle smile playing on his lips. "Feeling better?"

"Yeah, mostly," I replied, letting the warm spices and citrus flavors soothe my nerves. "But I'm also a bit nervous about the surprise I have planned for Wonwoo this weekend."

"Ooh, a surprise?" Seokmin perked up, scooting closer. "Do tell!"

I looked at them nervously . "I'm taking him to that cozy little mountain cabin we found. It's supposed to be perfect for a romantic winter getaway."

Minghao nodded approvingly. "That sounds amazing. Wonwoo's going to love it - the crackling fireplace, the snow-covered trees outside, the two of you snuggled up together."

I felt a blush creep up my cheeks at Minghao's words. "I just want everything to be perfect, you know? It's our first big trip as a couple."

Seokmin grinned and nudged me playfully. "Aw, our little Gyu is growing up! Don't worry, it'll be magical. Wonwoo's lucky to have you."
