As we ate, I heard a large bang and everything shook.

'What was that?' I asked, food still in my mouth.

Jason shook his head. 'It's probably Leo and his siblings at Bunker 9. They've had a lot of pressure on new weapons since the war.' he said, worry lacing his voice which did not help soothe me.

The crash was louder and I could pick out a familiar humming noise. Then, my senses started tingling and I knew something big was on its way. At that moment, the dinning hall exploded and the air was filled with a horrible stench like someone had made a skunk spray it's juice in a large container and dumped it on us, so that the room would not only be filled with stench but explode as well. Was that what Bunker 9 was seriously working on?

My vision became cloudy and I couldn't see. My eardrums felt like they had burst and all I could hear was this ringing noise before I zoned out.

When I woke up, someone was staring at me. They had black hair and dark eyes and black and green stuff all over their pale face. Handsome.

'Glad to see your awake.' it said.

'Umm, what? Who are you? Where am I?' I asked.

'You don't remember anything?' The boy sounded worried.

'Well, I remember a voice and someone called Nico? Do you know him? Nico?'

The boy smiled. I liked that smile.

'Yeah.' he sighed.

'Really? Where is he?'

'I am he.'

'You're Nico?'

'Yeah.'

'Makes sense. The Nico I know was a hot, like hot damn. Like, wow, is that a supermodel. If we were dating, I would've hit the jackpot.'

Nico blushed. 'We're not dating.' he muttered, averting his eyes.

'Aww, that's a shame. I wanna see your eyes. They're so pretty.'

He blushed even harder at that if that was possible but he did show me is eyes which were incredibly fasinating.

'Umm, you should sleep now.'

I didn't even realise how sleepy I was till he said it. I yawned and said, 'You're right. Goodnight, Nico.' I rolled over and closed my eyes. Not before hearing him say, 'Night, Will.'
