Bey Pov

I was attending this get together with my friends Kelly and Michelle. They told me to dress nicely so that's what I'm currently doing right now. I wore a sheer bodysuit with an all black undergarment set.

My hair was curled straight down my back and I had hoop earrings in. I think I looked sexy but hopefully I didn't over do it.

I heard a knock on my door and I knew it was Kelly and Michelle. I walked out the bathroom and grabbed my purse and made my way to the door. I opened it and seen Kelly and Michelle giving me shocked looks.

"What's wrong with yall?" I questioned giving them a confused look.

"Bey you never dress like this! Me and Chelle were expecting you to come to the door in a cropped sweatsuit!" Kelly expressed. What? That's not true. Well maybe a little but still!

"I decided to branch out so this is what I came up with. Do I look bad or something??" I asked. I really tried my best this time.

"No Bey no! You look great let's go." Michelle said. I nodded and fully walked out of the house locking the door. After I locked the door I went to get in the car and sat in the back. I was kinda an introvert so I really didn't go out much so I was hoping this would be a good outing.

It took about 30 minutes to get there and honestly it didn't look too packed so I wasn't worried or anything. We exited the car and made our way inside. I walked behind Kelly and Michelle like the shy girl that I am.

Once we walked inside it was nicely decorated and it was dim. I watched a few people's eyes linger on me but I kept a brave face and tried not to show my nervousness. There were little finger foods around and a bar.

I think I can live with this for a little while.

"Bey you seen anyone you like?" Chelsea randomly asked. Huh? Please don't tell me they're trying to set me up..

"Are yall trying to set me up??" I questioned, raising my eyebrow at them.

They held a guilty smile on their face and I huffed.

"Cmon Beyyyy! You haven't been with anyone since high school and that was the person that took your virginity." I gasped quickly covering her mouth with my hand.

"Kelly don't say that out loud!" I lightly shouted. "Kelly's right Bey. You need to find you someone Beyoncé you're 27 now." Michelle said and I rolled my eyes taking my hands from Kelly's mouth.

"Guys I'll be fine. The right person will come soon." I said. I don't know why they do this every time but it's whatever.

"Whatever you say Beyonce." Kelly said. I don't need a man to supply my needs. I've been doing just fine without one.

"Me and Kels are gonna go get us a drink stay here, ok?" Michelle told me. They know I don't drink heavy liquor only wine. Wine is less strong and more woman like to me.

I decided to sit down at a small table and wait for them because my feet were slightly hurting from the heels I was wearing. Everyone around me was up conversing while I was sitting by myself in this dim corner.

I felt as if someone was staring at me but maybe that's just my paranoia. It was about five minutes and they still weren't back yet.

"What's yo name baby?" I heard from behind me. I turned my head and seen a tall brownskin woman standing behind me with. She wore a denim print dress that was far above her knees, black boots, hoop earrings, and her hair going straight down her back.
